 Hopefully everyone survived Christmas. The kids got all that they wanted and the adults got blitzed.

This is what I learned recently:

1. The Matrix movie is meh. Not really sure it needed to be made.

2. I did like the Hawkeye series. Kind of wish it was longer.

3. Nothing quite like running into your brother on Christmas at the Chinese food joint.

4. Man everyone losing their minds over rapid tests, or lack thereof.

5. Ronin is still going strong. 

6. Ending the year at the tattoo shop seems appropriate.

7. Oh looking for a new car - minimum 40Gs.

8. I cannot imagine being stranded trying to get a flight anywhere.

9. Davio's on Christmas Eve serves the feast of the 7 fishes. In case you need to start planning for next year.

10. Already sick of everyone posting their year in reviews.

Im dreaming of a white Christmas

 I am hearing rain on Christmas but why cant it just snow a little bit?

This is what I learned this weekend:

1. The new Spiderman movie may be the best Marvel movie ever. It is by far the best Spiderman of them all.

2. Never great to hear that your dog has cancer and he has days not months.

3. I like the Christmas season. It fills me with joy.

4. Small world when you meet randoms at bars who are friends with your friends.

5. Marshmallow world is my Christmas jam.

6. Sad to learn that Bobby Flay is not returning to the Food Network.

7. Chrissy doesn't believe in winter jackets.

8. The cape house is available for rent May 1st till Oct 3rd. 

9. French onion soup is underrated.

10. Is anyone really excited for the Matrix? Or are people just happy a new movie is out?

 It is officially the Christmas season, since I watched Santa Claus is coming to town. Why don't they do a live action version of that? I mean I feel like we need the Burgermeister Meisterburger in live action!

1. Nick Saban has Georgias number.

2.Watch out for the step off that stage at Paddy Barrys. Its a doozy.

3. Letterkenny season 10 is coming at the end of the month.

4. Big game tonight for the New England Patriots.

5. Where do you stand on a fake tree vs a real tree? Deal breaker for Martell.

6. Apparently, Mario is a darts guy now.

7. Omicron, Unicron, Decepticon when the fuck is this Covid shit ending. Can we just go back to living our life? If ya get sick hopefully you are vaccinated and you don't die. This cannot go on for another year.

1. Chrissy and his wife are all in on Plunkett again - Dedham or the Cape doesn't matter.

2. Not Your Average Joes has gone down hill real quick.

3. Chris Leaden's hatred of cranberries runs deep.

4. Anyone else have a friend who makes everything about them?

5. When do Sox Pax go on sale? Anyone know?

6. Hope TK had fun at the Pats game yesterday.

7. I mean at this rate there will be a new variant every month or so. When do we go back to living our normal life?

8. It appears that I cannot get a new Bronco for 2 years. TWO FUCKING YEARS!

9. I am not really digging the NHL on ESPN +. I should be able to watch a fucking hockey game at a bar.

 Time for my favorite holiday - Thanksgiving! So let's get stuffed and blitzed this Thursday.

This is what I learned from Georgia:

1. The Mercedes Benz stadium is huge and nice.

2. Pats fans travel well.

3. The northeast needs some mother fucking Waffle houses.

4. Athens is a great place to catch a college game, go Dawgs.

5. Pretty sure no one in the south gives a fuck about Covid.

6. Peri Peri sauce rules the menu down there for wings. Let me tell you it's got some sneaky good back heat.

7. Blue cheese stuffed peppadews are something that I never knew I actually needed in my life.

8. The Claremont lounge is 100% the stripper graveyard. I am willing to bet the oldest stripper I saw was in her 80s.

9. I wonder if Chrissy bumped into TKs wife down in Aruba?

10. Please tell me you have seen these bizarre posts that Smiddy has been posting on his Instagram?

11. I cannot get used to everyone being so nice and calling me Mr. Derek down there.

12. All my Uber drivers were from NY or NJ, so I guess that many people retire in GA!

13. Coors light is not available everywhere. I had to drink Miller Lites, Mich Ultras, Budweiser heavy and Corona in a fucking can.

14. Senoia is where they tape the Walking Dead and believe me everyone will tell you that when you visit. Then point out all the extras as they walk about town.

 This months half over. Pretty soon it will be 2022. It can only go up, like the gas prices.

This is what I learned this weekend:

1. TK hates concerts. He can't wrap his head around why you would pay to watch someone play music. Has no problem watching a sporting event though.

2. Joe Martell had never heard of Yodels. Like what kind of world did you grow up in? Probably more of a little Debbie guy.

3. My underground weather guy told me La Nina is pushing her way through and it should be a mild winter. Not so much for the Pacific North West.

4. Congrats to coach Jeffrey on a huge win, thanks in part to Julian's 3 TDs and 2 2point conversions. Moving onto the Super bowl next week in West Bridgewater.

5. I went and saw Eternals, I thought it was pretty good. In no way is it the worst Marvel movie. That distinction still belongs to Thor 2.

6. Is there anything worse than that damn Island boy clip? Like how does that become famous.

7. Wait, the Patriots play the Falcons in ATL on Thursday and I am flying in on Friday? What is wrong with me?

8. In the past I have not really been a fan of the food at Buffalo Wild Wings but I will say they have really stepped it up since being bought out by Arby's.

9. I am more than happy to get a salad from time to time but it does not need to be swimming in dressing.

10. So winters fast approaching and they are saying Covid is going to get worse? HUH? People stay in most of the cold season, alone and miserable watching anything and everything on Netflix.

1. There are only 8 weeks left this year and that is kinda sad.

2. Will 2022 be the year we are done with Covid?

4. Never did I ever think I would learn so much about Prostate cancer at a bar.

5. Apparently, Rotten Tomatoes is bombing the new Marvel Eternals movie because there is an openly gay super hero. HUH?

7. All of a sudden everyone wants to head down to Athens for a Georgia game.

8. You guys are not going to believe this but TK is making friends with bartenders.

I hope everyone had a great Halloween.

This is what I learned this weekend:

1. No drink November is a thing, I guess.

2. It is also Birkenstock and sock weather. Man I love me some earthy crunchy people.

3. Nothing makes me smile quite as much as Mikey Layden at the bar on a Saturday night.

4. Jeffrey is not doing no drink November but he is only drinking on Saturday nights for the rest of the year.

5. I have had no luck with Keno or scratch tickets so far in 2021.

6. Rumor has it, Steve and Leaden are getting together Sunday Funday this week.

7. Hopefully everyone has recovered from the storm - fences were down, trees were down and some had holes ripped into their roofs.

Nor'easter in October

 I guess we should be happy that it is not snow.

Things I learned this weekend:

1. Dune was visually stunning, a bit slow but overall good.

2. Pretty bummed that the Sox didn't make the world series, mostly because I had tickets to game 2.

3. Is leaf peeping season over?

4. Waking up with calf cramps from drinking and being dehydrated could be one of the worst pains as an adult.

5. I got grass seed down so let us pray this rain helps it grow.

6. I had bad pizza guys, like inedible pizza - do not get the pizza at Bates.

7. I am still in awe that companies are firing people for not getting a covid shot.

8. Cannot figure out this Patriots team.

9. Chrissy is onto trying out yogurts to start having adult snacks.

11. Under no circumstances should ghost chili chocolate bars exist.

1. Trader Eds drink the bar dry was a fucking party.

2. Loved the new Chapelle special.

3. Did not like the new Jake Gyllenhaal movie Guilty though.

4. Look at these Redsox just winning games and series.

5. These fall days are what I live for.

5. It is officially flu season, even though I thought we eradicated that last winter with the Covid protocols.

6. Guess giving edibles as a birthday gift is the new cash in a card?

7. How long is this chip shortage going to last? I mean I am hearing used cars values will be up high for the next 5 years.

8. Hopefully you guys wished Chrissy a happy birthday last Saturday.

9. More places should offer pork and pork chops on their menus.

1. People under estimate english muffins with peanut butter.

2. As much as I love Fall, apple picking ain't my thing. Especially when you can buy a bag for $5.99.

3. I heard Chrissy and Grillo are in a beef. Something about Grillo blowing him off on karaoke night.

4. Speaking of Chrissy, I heard a rumor he may be getting a puppy(but you didn't hear that from me).

5. TK seems to find his new hang out in the Landing YO! Bates bar and grill.

6. Bobbo has 2 tickets to the Pats game for Sunday night if you know anyone.

7. Manager Leaden is too busy to manage his fantasy team, I think anyways.

8. My central AC is broken, at least it is coming close to the season being over.

9. Does not feel like it should be Celtics and Bruins training camp season yet.

10. Mike G says anyone who wants to come up to the lake and go on his pontoon boat, just give him a ring.

12. The Hull Pirates are 0-2. Losing last week when the visiting team had 3 untimed plays to score a TD.

3. TK is looking to go to the BC-Mizzou game this Saturday if anyone is interested.

4. Chrissy bumped into Brighty. Best friends and neighbors now.

5. And just like that the Redsox are winning again.

6. If you don't go to the BC game maybe you want to go to Endless summer in Hull.

7. So far it looks like at least 6 people are in for Jeffreys golf outing. Always looking for more.

8. What kind of place does not have the outdoor patio open on a 70 degree day?

Vacations, ho-ho-holidays and what have you.

This is what I learned while I was away:

1. People are really bummed out about Chrissy not doing the demolition derby this year.

2. Fro-yo and Vino is one hell of a combo bar.

3. Fantasy draft is in the book and Dave accessorizes with the best of them.

4. How is it we have 20156220 different streaming services but nothing is ever on.

5. Cape house is officially off the rental market so now the off season projects begin.

6. Jeffrey is looking to host his first annual golf tourney in October.

7. Holy hell Georgia is humid as all fuck but everyone is so nice. Its quite a tradeoff.

8. This Redsox season has been one hell of a roller coaster.

9. Rumor has it Joe Martell is on the wagon.

10. I like what Marvel did with Shang-Chi. looks like they are revamping their line up.

11. Nothing says drinking like getting a DUI on a golf cart.

12. Football is back and none too soon.

1. Heritage day in Scituate is a good take. (I did hear it used to be way better when they blocked the street off - fucking locals).

2. Jeffrey is afraid of Praying Mantis.

3. Not gonna lie the overnight shift is not really my thing.

4. The Popeyes chicken nuggets are not too bad. Just wish they came in spicy.

5. I can't believe that people are still going to see New Kids on the Block.

6. If you have kids, Paragon Boardwalk is a good place to go and relax outside.

7. Pretty sure I could have pizza everyday.

8. Trying to find a bar to host a fantasy draft stinks. There aren't many dives around.

9. Off the Hook in Quincy in now open. (Used to be called Louies Lunch and also where Jason Foley once passed out in their bathroom).

10. I am trying really hard to understand these NFT's but I recently saw a guy buy a strippers "love" for 250K as a NFT. Like what?

11. Well that was a fun Red Sox season.

12. TK is a huge Warren's Tavern guy. But yet I cant get him to meet me at Cronins for steak tips, something about not having a parking lot and he cant park in the street.

13. The outdoor patio at the Bowery bar is awesome.

14. You know I am a huge Mexican food guy so I am dying to try Locales Tacos and Tequila bar in Hingham.

1. 4th and Cherry in Weymouth landing is pretty good.

2. The 16th season of fantasy football draft order is out.

3. Chris Leaden made it to Jo's Notty.

4. Catered parties with on demand sushi and a bar tender. Rob is living his best life!!

5. Please pray for me, I am going to Atlanta at the end of the month and I may spontaneously combust when I land.

4. Glad to see Tom Kelly out and relaxing down the Cape. Hopefully when he retires he gets himself a nice little place down there.

5. Tequila and lemonade should never be mixed.

6. I am not really a fan of the High Noons, they seem like flat drinks.

7. Glad to see that people are really jumping on the Red Sox band wagon with both feet.

8. Finding free parking by Fenway for a Sox/Yanks game is like winning the lottery.

1. Of course the fucking rain wont stop this month. Tk probably talked about how we needed some water for the grass - fucking Noah's Ark up in this bitch.

2. Great to see Brian Folan and Lukey.

3. Southie looks crazy different, with high rises everywhere.

4. Glad to see Martell back killing the work grind.

5. Paragon Boardwalk is a pretty chill place to go for some outdoor drinks and decent food.

6. This whole pay wall from Twitter is trash and they can take their fleets and shove em up their asses.

7. Jump on the Calnan gambling wagon - Red Sox over for the rest of the year.

8. How many days a week can you eat pizza, and why is it 7 days?

 Yes mother fuckers we are in the middle of yet another heat wave.

1. The White Claw Teas are A-Okay in my book.

2. Truly punches on the other hand are trash.

3. Pretty sure I went a week and a half eating a cheeseburger or some variant everyday.

4. When you want a steak you want a steak.

6. I think I am a fan of brunch but I am not 100% sold.

4. This housing market is outrageous.

5. Nothing worse than burning the tips/tops of your ears.

6. Rumor has it, even though the Sox are doing well in the standings people are not making it to the ball park.

7.  Its Prime day the next two days. Not sure why that is exciting.

8. If you have never been, you should chill on the outdoor deck at The Inn at Bay Point.

9. I think the older I get the grumpier I am.

This is what I learned this weekend:

1. Puppies are cute but I dont think I ever want one again, a full size grown dog yes.

2. I always love to hear " how the fuck did we drink 80 beers?"

3. I hope everyone has been practicing their "Lets Go Bruins" chant. Gonna need it for the rest of this series.

4. How come no one has put together a Sox game get together or a random day of bar hopping?

5. The new Dunkin Donuts lemonade refreshers are pretty good...with Titos.

6. Heard Alba wont allow ladies up on the roof deck if they are wearing a tank top.

7. I don't remember it being 90 plus for 5 days in a row at all last year.

8. The price of everyfuckingthing is through the roof.

9. I made it into Paddy Barrys drunk and they didn't shut me off, chalking that up as a win.

10. BBQ spare ribs are underrated.

11. The town of Hull is resident parking only, unless you get a parking pass from home owners - whomp, whomp, whomp.

12. Debating having my annual July 3rd party or not.

 It is official, Covid19 is over and so is my 15 month lack of a haircut (yes it took 2 ladies).

This is what I learned this weekend:

1. I watched the Buddy Games this weekend, not as funny as I thought it would be but I am pretty sure one of the characters is based on Christian Daniel MacPhail.

2. June 1st, Leaden's first day at the new job. Good Luck Chris.

3. It felt great to be mask free and out and about.

4. The food at Jakes and Joes is pretty terrible but the beers are good.

5. I think Jeffrey is finally feeling comfortable at his new job.

6. Chrissy is up for Uncle of the year 2021, we are only 5 months through the year, you figure it out.

7. Steve Boyce out here buying Infinitys. 

8. I am glad to see that Methadone mile is the biggest issue for the mayor of Boston, current and future candidates.

9. Cicadas are amazing to me. Just showing up every 17 years like a dead beat dad.

10. Do birds sleep, like for real? Those motherfuckers are out there chirping at 3:30/4:00 am like its noon time.

4. So we aren't having a spring season anymore? Straight to summer.

5. Hopefully you guys connected with Leaden on what sides to bring for his cookout/housewarming party on June 19th.

7. The Cape apparently opened up early this season. A fucking 35 minute wait at the 99 is crazy to me.

8. Paul's Pit stop is opening in Quincy, hope they have decent BBQ.

10. New sneakers are always better when they fit right away.

3. The cape house is officially listed on New England Vacation Rental.

5. I think there is a race to see who has a house warming party first - TK in his new Weymo apartment or Chris at his Bridgewater house.

 Went to the Red Sox game on Marathon Monday, without a marathon. It was kind of normal.

4. Start stretching, both TK and Leaden are moving in the next few weeks.

5. I love me some school vacation week. No one comes into work.

This is what I learned this weekend:

1. Who the fuck doesn't like mustard? That's just crazy to me. Yeah Joe Martell is on this list.

2. Are we not going to talk about DMX?

3. Some scientist believe we will be at herd immunity by Memorial day.

4. Watched Godzilla vs Kong, it is ok.

5. Vaccine passports, how do we feel about them?

6. Man Easter being a mini Christmas is crazy to me.

7. Friday nights you can catch Leaden moonlighting at the Charlie Horse on Friday nights.

8. Its crazy to me that commercials have to have disclaimers that things were either shot pre-covid or all necessary precautions were taken.

9. Glad to see Facebooks was hacked and a half a bill\ion users phone numbers and addresses were released to the public.

10. I watched more Redsox games this season than all of last season.

11. Do you think the world would have ended up here eventually with the zoom meetings and virtual this and that but it was just accelerated because of Covid?

12. If you had to pick, where would you live? North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia or Florida?

Phase 4

 So Phase 4 begins on March 22nd!

This is so exciting how things are just going back to normal at such an alarming pace.

This is what I learned this weekend:

1. Jeffrey starting drinking before noon is something.

2. Supah P is alive and going to take all the cut wood.

3. Here is to new Beginnings - Jeffrey, Leaden and Jordan. All for different reasons.

4. Man I thought Mother Nature was going to sober up in 2021 but hell nah that bitch is on full rager.

5. Fuck neighbors.

6. No one has hit Megabucks in over a year now. It is a race between someone hitting that and my haircut.

7. Its funny how Foley started his midlife crisis and no ones heard from him since.

8. Is Baker gonna let us celebrate St. Paddys day tomorrow or do we have to wait till 2022?

9. Getting a new bed is fun and all until you feel like you are sleeping on a fucking rock.

 We made it to March. The governor is loosening up his restrictions, starting today. Things are looking up.

3. It is officially one year since my last hair cut.

8. NYC is opening movie theaters to 25% capacity on March 5th. Hey maybe open up some restaurants.

9.  Looks like the stock market may be on a downturn.

10. Speaking of stocks - I am sick of all these pop up ads saying if you invested just $5,000 on this stock you would have 1 million by now. NO FUCKING SHIT! A. If I had $5,000 when Apple went public I would have been one rich baby.

1. Grown ass men still shove birthday cake in each others faces.

2. Have you ever heard of having to tell your landlord 60+ days out that you aren't renewing?

4. Pretty sure I said I was not going to paint a house again after buying my house 10 years ago, guess I was lieing to myself.

5. Christian is looking to make moves from Ocean spray if you know of any job opportunities.

6. Speaking of moving, rumor has it Tk is gonna hang em up in 3 years and move to Florida.

7. Sundays are made for being lazy.

8. Just when it seems like Covid is on the downturn, it appears more people are getting it.

Well it is February

 That was the fastest January that I can remember. I mean last year it felt like January lasted 6 months and that was right before the pandemic hit.

This is what I learned this weekend:

1. I really fucking hate painting.

2. The Little Things was a waste of time. I was looking forward to it and they kind of wasted Jared Leto's performance.

3. Who is looking forward to this Superbowl? I think this is the most money I have thrown out there in squares.

4. Joey and Karen's dog is coming on Friday. 

5. Are we taking bets on if this groundhog sees his shadow?

6. Honey Dew donuts is underrated.

7. Mike Foley is alive. Saw him at Rags.

8. I hope everyone ran to the store for their eggs and milk. Nothing screams snow storm like french toast.

9. I wonder why Leaden didn't use Grillo for his real estate agent? Thought he was part of the Limoncello crew?

10. Chrissy is looking for a new job. I guess Ocean Spray is eliminating positions due to Covid.

This is what I learned this weekend:

1. People are assholes.

2. Martell is getting is dog Next Friday. 

3. Who else is pumped to stimulate the economy now that bars and restaurants are open back to their normal hours?

4. TK is pumped that he can get his vaccination next week.

5. Raw burgers are served at 33 Homer Rd.

6. I  have been trying to get to coffee with no cream but man its not going well.

7. Serious question, will this vaccine open up travel? Can I go to Seattle for a weekend?

11. Bars being only 25% capacity means no superbowl open bars and just more superbowl parties. The numbers will spike again.

2. After about a year people are starting to lose their minds. The monotony of everyday is having a toll on some.

4. St. Pattys is cancelled in the city.

5. The Bruins look like dog shit.

6. I see that tie dye is making a come back. Hippies for the win.

1. Way more restaurants are closed, either permanently or in "hibernation", due to Covid than I realized.

2. Speaking of paint, matching paint sucks. 

3. This new Super wild card weekend was something.

5. Joe and Karen have officially picked a dog and get to take him home on Feb 5th...Valentines came early.

 Ha, I always laugh when people are like new year new me. Nope same you, same old same and same bullshit.

This is what I learned this weekend:

1. The new Wonder Woman was very blah.

2. I hope every New years eve is as low key as this previous one.

3. I have a sneaking suspicion bars are going to jack up everything on their menu when they can finally open back to capacity.

4. Also this whole 90 Minutes is for the birds.

5. Fantasy football is done, so i guess we move onto hockey?

6. Speaking of football - how would you grade the Cam experience here in New England.

7. Sometimes when nothing goes right all you can do is laugh it off.

8. I have heard nothing but mixed reviews on Cobra Kai.

9. So many people doing Sober January. Let me know when you guys have the balls to do it in June, July and August.

10. I have noticed the price of gas is creeping up.

11. After seeing people use the Occulus, pretty sure I am glad that I aint into that.

13. Bakers 2 week roll back order is set to expire on Saturday...are we taking bets as to whether or not it gets an extension?

14. I would say that I am shocked the roll out of the vaccine isn't going smoothly. Between lack of staffing to give it and the lack of communication on where to get it to who is eligible and who is not.
