Turkey day

You guys know that Turkey day is my favorite holiday each year. Give me all the foods - turkey, mashed, carrots, pies, stuffing, cranberry sauce and whatever else I can fit on my plate.

In 2020, the year of Covid, I hope all your Thanksgivings are as best as they can be.

This is what I learned this weekend:

1. Listen to Chrissy when it comes to wall paper removal, the steamer is the key.

2. Red Faced Jacks just operates like there is no covid. Lawless bar scene.

3. Who knew that fences were so damn expensive.

4. Beef braciole take a whole lot of prep time.

5. How do we feel about venison? Yes or no to deer meat?

6. It appears that Erv has extended the time for donations till the end of November.

7. Happy 40th Bday to Steve Boyce.

8. Ladies you have any widowed or divorced aunts looking for Tom Kelly? He is ready to hit the market, a few miles on him but he is a classic.

9. Leaden's new schedule is Sunday - Wednesday so if you are looking for a random day of the week guy to drink with call him or Martell(who most likely will be at a bar at 1pm anyways)

10. Lots of rumbling that at the least Boston will be shutting down for a few weeks.

11. The Harley Quinn cartoon is one of the funniest cartoons I have ever watched.

12. Speaking of watching, How am I just now watching Workaholics? That shit is a riot.

Have a great holiday week.

Shopping

I hate shopping. I hate lines. I hate online shopping just as much - trying to find deals and coupons or promo codes.

This is what I learned this weekend:

1. Removing wall paper blows.

2. Honestly, who gets a 6 inch sub from Subway?

3. Papa Ginos is underrated.

4. So when are we all meeting up at Grumpy Whites one last time?

5. Remember when people just used to have differing opinions and you could still be friends?

6. Nothing like messing up your covid test dates by 2 fucking weeks.

7.  The Mandalorian started off really slow but man its picking up.

8. Serious question, who is going to Jersey Mikes.

9. I love how they have an emergency phone meeting for the governors of the New England area and Bakers was like nah I am too busy.

10. Joe Martell banging out overnights at work, 14 hour days. Get that paper son.

11. When this vaccine is out for the masses, will you get it?

12. Met my new neighbor, Tony, this weekend. Man has that guy smoked a lot of weed in his day.

Only...

There are only 52 days left in this year so lets celebrate that!

This is what I learned this weekend:

1. Wait I thought it was flu season? I have not heard of one case of the flu yet...kinda weird.

2. Joey Martell said he heard the state will be going back into a lock down in 3 weeks, the Monday after Thanksgiving. No more gyms, no more eating out, no more anything.

3. No matter who you voted for can we all agree that people should be coming closer to the middle and stop being so far Left or Right? Lets try to be nicer.

4. Leaden's looking for an apartment if you know of any.

5. I am so out of shape it is beyond ridiculous.

6. After 5-6 years of searching, placing several offers on places to only have them pull the house off the market, finally purchased a Cape house.

7. Baker has rolled back and issued a nightly curfew. Not really sure if Covid only comes out after 10 pm but hey whatever blows your hair back bro.

8. Sometimes you just need a weekend to recharge your batteries.

9. Marry, Fuck, Kill - Chinese food, Mexican food and Italian food.

10. My friend and all around great guy, Ervin, has started a go fund me for his home and relatives in Honduras.

"HONDURAS, Hurricane Relief Donations

As many of you may know, The country of Honduras has been devastated with floods, mudslides, and destruction caused by Hurricane ETA. There’s been multiple casualties and tens of thousands of its residents have seen their homes destroyed and damaged and subsequently been displaced with no where to go and no food to to eat. Entire cities, Towns, and villages are under water.  A lot of the regions infrastructure has been decimated making it difficult for people to receive local aid. Means of communication have been severely impacted making it difficult for loved ones to check on each other.

In the next couple of weeks I will be conducting a canned food, shoes and  clothing drive in the Boston area to ship and try to provide some relief for these hurricane victims. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated. I will be accepting Used and New Shoes/Clothes for men, women, children, and infants. Sheets/blankets. Canned foods. Baby formula, pampers. Cooking pots and pans.

You can reach him at (857)212-2280 via text for donation pick up or delivery."

Count down

I can't be the only person counting down till 2021. I mean these last 59 days can't move by fast enough.

This is what I learned this weekend:

1. Are people still entitled to their own opinion? Or only if it fit with yours?

2. When the Covid vaccine comes out are you getting it?

3. Since there wasn't much in the way of trick or treating, I saw many people forced inside to host small parties...so wait for the numbers to spike the next 2 weeks.

4. Fuck daylight savings time. Id rather it be dark at 6 am than at 5 pm.

5. You motherfuckers love to post your Snap Chat memories from 3 years ago. no one really gave a fuck then and they sure as shit don't care now.

6. The 99 sucks, the food sucks, the heavy ass glasses the beers come in suck and since you cant sit at the bar that also sucks.

7. Its cranberry season and you know what that means - Chrissy is working 30 plus hours of overtime a week.

8. Being an adult and doing adult type things can be stressful.

9. 2020 + an election year = a complete waste of a year.

10. Remote starters are the tits. I love my steering wheel being warm when I get in during the winter.

11.  We all have that one friend who says yes to any plans but then when its time for those plans they are wishy washy or the ghost you.

12. I find more and more people are drinking more and more during Covid 19 season. Is that from boredom, lack of social interaction or they are just finding being drunk is the only way to go through 2020? The world may never know.

13. Guess when you don't cut your hair at all during this pandemic everyone has a remark.

14. Finally found the Bud Light Platinum seltzers.

15. Lasagna is a lot of work but man it hits harder when that's what you want.

16. It never ceases to amaze me at how fast money goes.
