The 2019 BFit Challenge Check Presentation
All of the money raised from the BFit First Responder Challenge powered by National Grid benefits the families of fallen heroes....On the bench to present the check during the Bruins game on February 26th 2019 was:
The highest fundraising Police team was the Boston Police Runners Club who raised over $50,000. The highest fundraising Fire/EMS Team was the Worcester Fire Local 1009 Team 1 who raised over $38,000 And the highest fundraising individual was Cecil Jones who raised $50,000! We also had 3 individuals we would like to call out who each raised over $10,000: Andrew Staruk of Worcester Fire, John Fanning of the Massachusetts State Police, and Yuriy Bukenhik of the Massachusetts State Police. Thank you everyone, especially our First Responders and civilians who participated in the third annual BFit First Responder Challenge powered by National Grid & helped raise $500,000 for The Hundred Club of Massachusetts and the families of fallen first responders!
