World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party

The Florida vs. Georgia Football Classic or Georgia vs. Florida Football Classic is an annual college football game held between the University of Florida Gators and the University of Georgia Bulldogs nearly every year since 1915. The name rotates each year depending on which team is the designated home team. It is one of the great rivalry games in college football, and since 1933 it has nearly always been held in Jacksonville, Florida, making it one of the few remaining neutral-site rivalries. The game attracts huge crowds to Jacksonville, and the associated tailgating and other events earned it the nickname of the "World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party".
The game is usually held on the last Saturday in October at EverBank Field. Beginning with the 2009 contest, the winning team is awarded a trophy known as the "Okefenokee Oar".

I know I have blogged and written about this before. I will continue to do so until I make it to this game. Hopefully next year after all this wedding shit dies down. Then I will write a huge blog write up.

This game has everything:
1. Tailgating - check
2. Cocktails - check
3. Florida Co-eds - check
4. Georgia Co-eds - check
5. Jacksonville Florida - check(if it can host Superbowls then it must have a night life)
6. My favorite college football team - Georgia - check
7. Halloween weekend - check

It is really a shame that I have yet to go to this game. I have only been trying since I turned 21, whats that 12 years? This year wouldn't be a good game to go to though. The Dawgs (4-4) are rebuilding and if they lose; Mark Richt may lose his job. I know there is no build up to this game, no fanfare and no real SEC implications with Florida being(4-3) but I know where I will be on Saturday. Rooting on my team and hoping Urban Meyers gets that stupid smirk wiped off his face.

So who ya got?
