Tweet of the week

I am still trying to figure out the best way to do tweet of the week:
1. Should I wait all week and just post it on Friday?
2. Should I post it when it happens?
3. Should I post the tweeters avatar(pic)?

I have done it both ways. It seems if I wait the issue may not be as funny or pertinent but if I don't wait then a better tweet may come along the rest of the week...it is quite a dilema. What do you guys think I should do?
