Top Three Wings Places in Massachusetts
Here is Chrissy's review for the top 3 wing places in Massachussetts
#1 Wendells Pub Norton MA
This is a little hole in the wall bar know for their wings. Derek found this years ago and i have been hooked ever since. There are 7 different varietys of wings- Sissy, Sissy Suicidal, Sassy, 3.5, Extra Spicy, Suicidal, and Double Dare (which just made the new menu's). The portions are small, about 10 wings to an order so i usually order a double. I have only ordered the double dare. The waitresses still think im crazy for ordering them but think im down right insane for finishing them. The wings are cooked one way, well done which is the only way i like them. The wings are just a perfect crunch every time!
#2 Chrisy's Place Pembroke MA
Thats right, my house comes in at #2 only because i cant get the hot peppers used at wendells. I have ordered the legendary "ghost pepper" and hope to grow them in my garden this year so i might move up to #1 in next years review. Everyone should remember how hott the ghost pepper is from when we went to Hell Night a couple months back. I usually make my wings as hott as i can but when other people are over, i will cook to order. I appreciate that people that dont like their sauce as hott as i do still give me credit for it being very tasty and not just hott for the sake of being hott. I can either bake them for a healthier choice or i still prefer the deep fry method. My house is always open and anyone is welcome to come on by and try a batch. My only question is, at what age can i start feeding my baby hott wings??
#3 Charlie Horse Kingston MA
This was the only place to get wings before they blew up into the every day food that they are today. I remember skipping school just to go get an order. This was also before i made them at my house on the scale i do today so i had not perfected the art of cooking the buffalo wing just yet. Today they are down to #3 based soley on the fact that they are not as hott as the other two places i mentioned. But you can still get a good order cooked how you like with a variety of heat levels to chose from.
Honorable Mention:
Tri City Wings Newtonville MA
I found this place when i was googling hott wing joints by my work. This is one of those places that not only have buffalo wings but about another 10 different flavors to chose from. These places are not usually that hott but i give it props for not being that bad. The guys there also figured out that i like them very hott so they can try new things to spice it up. but i have to say that for a restaurant, this is the best place for portion size.

Lost Boy

Eighties teen idol Corey Haim died Wednesday morning of an apparent drug overdose, according to Los Angeles police.
The Canadian-born actor, who starred in "The Lost Boys" but was probably best known for his roles with fellow actor Corey Feldman, was 38.
He was found unresponsive at his Oakwood apartment around 3:30 a.m.,according to KTLA-TV. His mother was at the apartment at the time of his death.
The actor, who has struggled with drug addiction, was pronounced dead at Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center in Burbank.
Police were called to the hospital just before 4 a.m. to investigate his death.
Police sources told CBS Haim's death appeared accidental. Haim has been in and out of rehab and starred in a reality show with Feldman in 2007 called "The Two Coreys."
He talked about his struggle with drugs - specificially prescription drugs.
"I started on the downers which were a hell of a lot better than the uppers because I was a nervous wreck. But one led to two, two led to four, four led to eight, until at the end it was about 85 a day - the doctors could not believe I was taking that much," he told a reporter in 2007.
"And that was just the Valium - I'm not talking about the other pills I went through."
Haim's official website was last updated on Jan. 18 and promotes his upcoming film, a thriller titled "American Sunset."

How much would you pay to cut the line?
Restaurant to sell ‘season passes’
How much would you pay to cut the line?
The RemDawg is betting at least $500.
The broadcasting legend is trying to persuade baseball fans to fork over big money for “season passes’’ to the Red Sox TV color commentator’s new restaurant, Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar & Grill, which is opening next week.
Patrons who shell out $500 will get to skip the line that forms before Red Sox games (packages are for either home or away games), have a guaranteed table (once the game starts), and receive a $25 food credit plus one free beer, along with invites to exclusive events (up to a $3,000 value).
And, of course, you get an autographed picture of Jerry Remy at your table (priceless).
It’s a bold pitch to make in the midst of the recession, especially since the $500 does not come with a seat in the park. But Red Sox Nation always seems willing to pay for new perks. Already, 170 people have signed up for the deal, which was launched last month.
Don Bailey, general manager and the guy who gave birth to the season-pass idea, said the restaurant is hoping to sell up to 300 passes. To win over fans, Remy’s has billed itself as an extension of Fenway Park, with a similar facade, exposed pillars, and waiters dressed in uniforms.
“This $500 season-ticket package can deliver an experience as close to an actual season ticketholder as possible, at a fraction of the price,’’ Bailey said.
For Chris Cakebread, a Boston University professor who teaches advertising and sports marketing, the season-pass package seems “just a little over the top. It’s certainly an over-exaggerated way to show your love for the Red Sox,’’ he said.
But Cakebread acknowledged the competition around Fenway has intensified in recent years, so businesses have to try what they can to stand out.
Remy’s is hoping to use its season-pass offer to attract fans year-round, with $350 packages for the Patriots and $250 for the Celtics that give the same perks for all the games.
Phil Cronin, a devout member of Red Sox Nation, said any true fan who has been going to Fenway for awhile knows when and where to eat to avoid lines and get reasonably priced good food. He won’t be lured by Remy’s offer, but doesn’t blame the newly fashioned restaurateur, either.
“I think Remy is a great color commentator. I understand that he needs to cash in while things are hot,’’ Cronin said.
“I can’t blame him for trying to grab every cent he can from unsuspecting ‘fans.’ ’’
I wasn't going to write about this but it's a slow day. I mean really paying $500 bucks for line privileges? Its a restaurant not a fucking night club. If there's a line then go to the next bar. That's why there are so many bars in the area, to try and accommodate all the fans. I mean bars are all the same - they have pub grub, beers, flat screen tv's and tons of drunk people in them. Now I am not against trying to make money and apparently people are ponying up for this great $500 perk. The biggest issue is now the other bars/institutes in the area will see that people are paying this rate and start doing the same thing. Come to Game on where your line pass is only $400. The Cask and Flaggon is having a sale on line passes for $350.
As if going to a bar and paying for beers and food isn't enough for these owners now. Great Job Remy just another reason will be bitching about the Sox.

Week 6 Darts Update
After a tough loss last week we began tonight's match in 4th place. We were 9 points out of 1st and just 1 point ahead of the 5th place team. The team we played against used to be the doormat of the league but they were coming off a 7-4 victory and after some practice and a few roster changes they are looking like they can compete.
To open on a positive note we finally seemed to have figured out how to win in Cricket and as much as it pains me to say it, we needed to point them in 2 of 3 matches.. The bad news is that the nightly music still continues to be a real issue... We started the night with "Trans-Siberian", but moved on to a great mix of old rock, and rap to new music. I would have left it alone, but ending with Alice's Restaurant just doesn't sit well
Here is a breakdown of tonight's matches:
Split 601's (1-1)
Won 2 of 3 Cricket games (3-2)
Won 5 of 6 301 Singles matches (8-3)
Unlike last week there were a few good questions from the night.
I don't know if you will find them funny, but if you were there when they were dropped, I'm sure you would have cracked a smile.

- Who the Fu*k closes out a 301 game with a double 2 - double 1? Only Mr. Booze, that's who!
- Who still says "Ranking on him"?
- How did she slap your ass while you were having sex? Was she F'n YOU?
- Wanna see it real quick while I have it out?
Next week we are at the ODP to close out the 1st half of the season. Tonight was a great win but we still need a to play well the rest of the way to put ourselves in good position for a bye and a deep run in the playoffs.

Grade 2

I am pretty sure everyone has seen the cheap hit on Mark Savard by now.
If not check it out here(also lots of concussion talk after):
http://watch.tsn.ca/nhl/clip273485#clip273485
The Bruins have only 18 games left to their season. They have been flopping everywhere from down in 11th place all the way up to 6th. They currently sit in 8th place with 69 points, so every point counts. At this point of the season we can't afford to lose our best player for an extended period of time but that's exactly what just happened. I am more incensed with the lack of fire that the Bruins showed after the hit, than I am with the actual hit itself. I thought hockey teams were like families? If so they treated Marc Savard like a red headed step child.
Current standing for each division:

As you can see the B's have a few games in hand against the Canadians. Lets hope we can make it to the playoffs and get to the Stanley cup finals. I mean why did my tickets go up 20% for next year if we ain't making it to the playoffs.
As far as the next season goes here is a list of the top prospects in the NHL draft:

The Bruins own the rights to the Toronto Maple Leafs 1st round pick. Here is where Toronto sits in regards to getting the #1 overall pick:

They are 4 points above the Edmonton Oilers for the worst record in the league. Lets all start rooting on the dreadful Oilers as well for their stretch run of the season.

The weather has really started to change. Mid 50's for 3 days straight. I hope it stays like this for the Parade on Sunday.
This is what I learned this weekend:
1. Cherry Coke was introduced in 1985.
2. Supah P make is own surf and turf burgers. He orders a Filet o' fish and a Quarter pounder with cheese and puts them together. Gotta love Mcdonalds and Supahs ingenuity.
3. A full grown elephant can eat up to 495 lbs a day!
4. Smiddy tried the new Bud Select 55...a glorified wine cooler.
5. Pepsi makes a Fire and an Ice soda(only available in other countries):

6. People still say sloshed.
7. Why get a red bull and vodka when you can have 5 Jager Bombs in 45 minutes? Ask Supah P!
8. Sundays at the Junction is a blast.
9. My phone wants me to upgrade. How else do you explain it's constant dieing/freezing up on me?
10. People get so worked up about weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties and showers.
11. I am looking forward to St Pattys day.
12. Jenn is running the Boston Marathon again.

A driver who ran a stop sign and nearly struck another car head-on Monday was charged with DUI and resisting arrest after she gave an officer a false name, according to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.
She identified herself as “Alicia Butt,” according to an incident report, but a deputy learned after taking her to the Bay County Jail that was not her real name.
She consented to a breathalyzer test and her results were .331 and .330, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The deputy said she had a quarter-full whiskey bottle in her car, was barely able to stand and had urinated on herself, so he didn’t ask her to perform field sobriety exercises.
She also was charged with driving with a suspended license.
I hope this lady is single!! .331 and .330, barely able to stand, urinated on herself...I bet she has a gaggle of dudes that she bangs on the regular.
