Say It Aint So Big Show

There are a couple of posts that I look forward to seeing every week. Mr. Booze’s ‘What I Learned This Weekend’ is always a must read for Monday morning, ChiefDude’s G.I.W.T.F. gives us all a good reason to check in on the blog during the weekend, and my favorite post is Big Shows weekly weigh in. I’m honestly not being a jerk (which is very rare); I’m all for people who want to improve themselves which is why I’m so interested in this weight loss crusade. But it has been a while since we’ve gotten an update so I thought I’d ask how the weight loss is going. Bad news…..Big Show has hit the proverbial wall. He’s not gaining wait but Big Show is currently stuck at 305lbs and hasn’t been able to make it budge from that spot for 3 weeks. Big Show needs our help people…..so we’re going to do everything we can to get him below 300 lbs. We can use the blog to start the Big Show Watch….if you see him cheating on his diet post a comment. If you see him taking the shuttle from the parking garage….post a comment. I

We also need to come up with a new weight loss plan. Losing 33 lbs is great but Big Show’s body has gotten used to the eating and exercise pattern and has decided to shut down…..time to make a change kid. So here ya go! Your goal is to not exceed 1700 calories a day with a high protein/low fat diet. Get rid of the walking/running bullshit…..walking does very little for you unless you’re walking 10 miles a day and under no circumstances should you be running. Maybe if you drop under 250 lbs we can talk about running but for right now it’s not doing you any good. Get on a treadmill or elliptical machine for 10-15 minutes per day and then get in some basic stretching and simple exercises (sit-ups, push-ups, etc…..). It doesn’t matter what you do as long as you maintain an elevated heart rate for 30 minutes. Do that for 3 weeks without any cheating and I guarantee you’ll drop 10 pounds easy.

And for the rest of you bastards….yes I know I’m fat and I’m trying to lose weight as well so SUCK IT!

Big Show

First of all Welcome back ChiefDude!

Secondly the Big Shows mother has laid a challenge at his feet. Lose 100lbs in 1 year. That equates to 2 lbs a week for the year. He accepted the challenge and started 3 weeks ago.

He started off at 338 lbs.

Current weight 329 lbs.

Hopefully we will have weekly weigh-ins.

Sad day in mudville

This is going to be my last post for the blog. I am shutting it down as of 6:00 pm tonight. It is just too much work to keep up with everyday, writing, posting, videos, links, and more writing. Rio, Bigshow, Stylegal, and Cheifdude have all stopped posting things...

Just fucking with you guys it's April fools day ya'll!! Ha ha who the fuck talks like that? Ya'll, Yonder, Whew and all that other bullshit!! It always makes me smile though, probably because all I can think is "what a dumb shit". Alright enough about that.

Apparently people think that I have not been writing enough. I am not doing my part to keep up with other blogs. Well here I am...bring it bitches.

The dart team lost last night 6-5. The Big show was a NO SHOW! Jeffrey didn't make it. Bob V was out sick. We had 6 guys and we toughed it out. Mike Foley played his ass off and came up with huge darts throughout the night. The player of the week is Welchie. His double cork in Cricket saved his game and possibly the season. Good job boys, next weeks match is at the St. Marks Post or smokeville as I like to call it.

The Bruins continued their recent resurgence with a 3-1 win last night over the Bolts(is there any dumber nick name than the Bolts for the Lightning?). Big Z carried the load with a Gordie Howe hat trick(1 goal, 1 assist and 1 fight for all you wanna B's). Chuckwagon and Blake Wheeler both joined the 20 goal plateau making them the 7th players on the Bruins to achieve that this year. Keep the wins coming boys. Hopefully Phil Kessel will start skating by the end of the week and play a few tune up games next week heading into the playoffs.

Speaking of playoffs, tickets go on sale tomorrow at 11 am here are the links:
Game 1

Game 2

Make sure you shut the Cuntnadian fans out.

Trade deadline

Today is trading day boys. It is time for all the rumors to stop and for the real GM's to make some ballsy moves. After last nights debacle(suck it Iggles) it is apparently clear the Bruins need a big time Defenseman and a left handed shot. They could be one in the same.

If it were me and I were playing GM of the B's today, I would put all my cards on the table. Here is who I would make available:
1. Zack Hammill
2. Vladimir Sobotka
3. Jeremy Reich
4. Peter Schaefer
5. Petteri Nokelainen
6. Chuck Kobasew
7. Byron Bitz
8. Manny Fernandez
9. Any of the D other than Chara
10. Pusstrice Bergeron

Since I am not the GM today let hope Chiarelli makes some big time noise and not take some crap player to try to get us over the hump.

The dart team is in it's typical early season slump. We lost again this week, 7-4. The silent sniper has been praying to the porcelain god for the past 3 days and was unable to play. Jeffrey has been working on his house down in hull so he wasn't available and well we all know Jared quit on us. Bigshow hasn't shown up for a match yet and we are heading into week 6. Glad to see Mike G showing up and working the rust off.

Tough tough tough loss for the Celtics in overtime last night. I don't want to blame everything thing on officiating because there is never a reason that Big Baby should be taking all those shots. Hey Doc maybe you should of played Powe when KG fouled out. Whats up with the ticky tack fouls? Still an over all good game to watch.

The Bruins on the other hand pulled out a win in an overtime shoot out. Thomas wasn't outstanding in regulation but he kicked it into 5th gear for the overtime period.

Lets hope they can keep it going tomorrow against the Flyers.

Just a quick reminder that we are all getting together at Ned Devines to Celebrate the Big Shows 30th. Stop on by for some beers, some shots and the Benderz.

Its Wednesday AKA William J Smiddys favorite day of the week - HUMP DAY! Speaking of the Smidawg, let's all pray for him. Today he is heading to the doctors for a Cortisone shot. He really hurt his back from playing three sports while growing up. Smidawg we wish you a speedy recovery.
