Halloween is Friday! That means parties and candy and someone spiking the punch.

This is what I learned while away:

1. No one is as miserable as Chris Leaden working 2 jobs.

2. You do not want to roll your ankle over the age of 40! I mean that shit hurts.

3. I see Joey Martell is back on his bullshit. Going out and drinking hard Monday through Thursday but no where  to be seen Friday through Sunday.

4. People get spoken to at work, for whatever reason, and just quit at the end of the week? Is this the new normal?

5. It seems like the seasonal change over is no longer a gradual thing but more of an on/off switch. 

6. Florida v Georgia is this Saturday in Jacksonville - then it takes a 2 year hiatus as they renovate the Jaguars stadium - Next year in Atlanta and the following year in Tamps. I have plans to get to at least one if not both of those games. You can take the name away but you cant take the Worlds Largest Outdoor cocktail party away from us. Also see you at the bar this Saturday - IYKYK!

7. The Hoffy now has BBQ Wednesday through Saturdays - Black Creek BBQ.

8. The Table Mercarto sandwich is a top tier sandwich and probably the best I have ever had. I know I have said that before but shit that sandy slaps!

9. Less than 2 months away from Christmas. Even closer yet is my stint as Santa on December 21st.

10. Julian's last home football game/Jeffreys last coaching gig at home is this Saturday in Hull, 11:30 am. Win and they move on. 

11. Crockpot season is upon us. Just ask Chrissy who uses filet mignon for beef stew.

12. Auntie Annies pretzel nuggets are now on sale in your freezer section - with the cinnamon sugar.

13. People are actively rooting against the Dodgers and for the Blue Jays! How you hating on Ohtani?

14. Celtics and Bruins flat out stink. Both are a barely watchable product. Joe Missoula doesn't seem to know how to make in game adjustments - Just Shoot the 3. Marco Sturm does he know he is coaching in the NHL and not the AHL?

15. Should be bring back the Mustache Pubcrawl? Or maybe the Toys for Tots crawl?

16. I thought the purpose of streaming service was getting all episode drops and no commercials. Seems like that lasted for only a few years, TRASH!

I didn't forget

 Sorry I was a little bit off yesterday, long weekend and all.

This is what I learned this weekend:

1. I do not believe Martell even likes sports.

2. Pudding shots are 10000000% better than Jello shots.

3. Nothing screams FML like your fridge dyeing a month or so before you are set to get a new one.

4. Who the fuck hates rice? I mean honestly?

5. Wait people do not clean up their text messages and just have messages from years ago?  That gives me so much anxiety.

6. Lot of uncertainty with Thanksgiving travel due to the government shut down. Is this effecting your plans?

7. Dress shopping for last place in the fantasy league will be fun this year.

8. Who would have bet that Tom Kelly would get a new cell phone before Chrissy? Welcome to the new Iphone TK!

9. Fall is the best season and its not close.

10. Fuck apple picking. Wasting all day picking a bag of fucking apples I can buy at the grocery store cheaper.

11. Congrats Joey on getting a company van. You are bigtime again.

12. How long could you go being sober?

I fucking know. Its been a month. I was on vacation for 2 of those weeks  so sue me.

This is what I learned while away:

1. The world is a crazy place. 

2. Saint Maarten is pretty sweet. I stayed here and man did I relax.

3. Bruins season starts tomorrow. Celtics in 2 weeks. The Sox were in the playoffs. The Pats may have found a QB...We are coming up roses.

4. Rumor has it Joey Martell may be having a cookout this weekend. Happy Birthday fat boy!

5. Oreo and Doritos do not give a fuck - they will try any and all flavors. Do Not sleep on the Taco flavor Doritos (the original).

6. Congrats to TK on his Jefferson move - DELUX APARTMENT IN THE SKYYYYYY!!

7. Coach J only has 2 games left before the playoffs.

8. When did sneakers get so expensive?

9. They are still pushing the covid vaccine huh?

10. Fall is here and that means comfort meals - chili, beef stew and everything else you grew up eating.

11. Santa beard is coming in for December 21st at the Hoffy.

12. Big props to Matty Kraemer for raising over $750 K for Folds of Honor, on behalf of Delta.

13. Have you guys got on the Turtlebox speaker kick yet?

14. Chrissy is on the hunt for a new phone. He's thinking about joining team IPhone.

15. Now with the NIL deals and everyone transferring all over the place. When a guy is drafted do you have to name all the schools he went? Is Bo Nix Auburn and Oregon or just the team he was drafted from?

16. I have gone 3 days without drinking. May be the longest stretch of the year.

17. Sunburns in October are not fun.

18. Worlds largest outdoor cocktail party is in Atlanta next year and the Tampa the next.

19. I am amazed at how much is automated in travel now. Digital Customs is wonderfully wild.

20. Looking to go anywhere warm the week after Christmas is INFUCKINGSANE! Prices are almost quadrouple.
