X Box 360

All the Xbox fans can wear their passion for the same on their feet. Sole Junkie has put up an exclusive pair of sneakers, aptly subbed as Custom Nike Xbox - Alpha - Dunks Sneakers on eBay. For $2,500 this pair has a black patent leather body. But the highlight of the shoe is the embedded fiber optic wiring in the shape of the XBOX logo. Fitted with a battery powered on/off switch, it comes with two settings - Strobe or Constant light functions. The graded lime swoosh fades to the rear end. Also the toe area on the front is painted in a surreal Tiger Camouflage with accents of lime and bright green. Available in size 11 for men only, the sellers is also offering a free book along with the bespoke sneaker. If you are sold to this pair then rush to ebay as it is up there for a limited period

Being a gamer im not sure how I feel about these sneakers. I can say 2,500 for a pair of sneakers is insane. Would Mr. Booze sport these?

Maxim Hot 100

So what on earth are the editors at Maxim smoking these days? Olivia Wilde (Pictured Left) is the hottest girl on the planet are you serious? Look im a fan of House, and I would agree that she is pretty but the hottest girl on the planet I think not! not even close. Last year it was Megan Fox and rightfully so I think everyone gets that pick. Maxim has lost some credit with me on there judging scale. Here's a question to ponder when on earth are these hot lists going to give Rachael Leigh Cook some credit she blows this years bitch away by light years. For those of you not familiar with Rachael I will introduce you.

Lingerie Football League

Lingerie Football League – I really don’t know what to make of this Lingerie Football League. When you break it down it sounds like a good idea…football is good, hot ladies wearing almost nothing is obviously good. But this reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry was dating a nudist…everything was great until she tried to open a pickle jar. Well the league will have a team in New England called the Euphoria. And of course a team in Philly called the Passion. I’m not going to paste the whole article but here are some quotes after the Passion held their tryouts that peaked my interest:

“I think it’s a lot of fun,” said Villanova University senior Nicole Demico of Conshohocken, who played in high school and college.

“It’s a little different, but it brings a whole new aspect to football,” said Demico, who wasn’t bothered by the racier aspects of the league, like playing in sports bras, boy shorts, chokers and garter belts, in addition to the standard helmet and pads.

“I think it’s fantastic — boobs are great,” said Heather Haskins, 26, of Havertown, who said she would not only watch the games on TV, but bring her fiancé to home games, as well.

“It was my choice to go to an all-girls college where it was like super-feminist all the time, and this is the sort thing that we amused ourselves with,” said Haskins, “I don’t think it’s degrading to women at all. They chose to be here, they know what they’re getting into, so I’m OK with it.”

WTF….Havertown was where I grew up. I can’t ever recall meeting such a forward thinking girl when I lived there. The girl loves boobs, will take her boyfriend to watch said boobs, and is 100% in favor of this Lingerie League.

Rapper T.I. coming to Arkansas — for prison term
By JON GAMBRELL, Associated Press Writer Jon Gambrell, Associated Press Writer
Fri May 15, 2:01 pm ET

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – T.I. will be coming to Arkansas by May 26 to serve a prison sentence on federal weapons charges.

The 28-year-old rapper, whose real name is Clifford J. Harris Jr., will be serving his sentence of one year and a day at the Forrest City low-security federal prison. Paperwork filed in his federal court case shows he has until noon on May 26 to report for his sentence.

Prison officials didn't immediately return a call Friday for comment.

Harris pleaded guilty to the charges after he tried to buy a stash of machine guns and silencers to protect himself after his best friend was killed. He will also pay a $100,000 fine as part of his sentence.

Man doesn't anyone listen to the radio in Little Rock. The dude said "the old me is dead and gone" he's gone mother fuckers, gone he even threw in Justin for some vocals to prove that the old me is dead and gone.

4 US citizens found strangled in Tijuana
Thu May 14, 10:15 pm ET

TIJUANA, Mexico – The bodies of four U.S. citizens were found strangled, beaten and stabbed in a van in this border city, two days after they reportedly left their Southern California homes for a night at the Mexican clubs, U.S. officials said Thursday.

The victims, ages 19 to 23 years old, were found tied up on Saturday, but their deaths were not reported earlier because they were under investigation, said Fermin Gomez, an assistant state prosecutor in Baja California.

U.S. consular officials in Tijuana said the victims — two men and two women from the San Diego and Chula Vista areas — were U.S. citizens. The state attorney general's office in Baja California said one of the women was Mexican.

Their deaths are the latest in a string of violence in Tijuana that authorities blame on a bloody turf war between drug cartels.

"I just don't think kids should be going to Tijuana right now," Chula Vista police Lt. Scott Arsenault told the San Diego Union-Tribune. "They ran into the wrong people, obviously."

Bernard Gonzales, a spokesman for the Chula Vista Police Department, said a friend told the women's parents they were headed to nightclubs in Tijuana on Thursday night. They were reported missing the next day when they did not answer their cell phones.

In no way an i condoning this but seriously these kids are from the U.S. it has been consistantly on the news that Swine flu is from Mexico why would you go there right now?

Friday

Ok boys and girls no more Wanna B's list. The Bruins played their hearts out last night and lost. Every time I think about it all I want to do is scream FUCK FUCK FUCK!
It was a great season, which I wish could of lasted longer. The night didn't start off too well with Lenny Clarke blowing MJT off, Come on Kenny the kid just wanted a high five...GET THE FUCK OVER YOURSELF!

Meeting Jackie Edwards after the game and then giving him my JUICY REBOUND shirt off my back was one of the highlights of this great season. I am not going to dwell on the outcome of this last game, just know this - the Bruins are back! So what if I have been listening to AC/DC's Thunderstruck, on repeat since I woke up. Does NOT mean I am upset one fucking bit!

See you all at the 2nd Annual Mustache Pub Crawl tomorrow. Starts at 1:00 pm at DJ's.

The dart season is also over. GOD DAMN IT!

Delaware here I come

The Delaware Senate voted in favor of Gov. Jack Markell's proposal to legalize sports betting in the state on Tuesday by a vote of 17-2. Markell is expected to sign the bill into law later this week.

"It's time to move forward and ensure the Delaware Sports Lottery is a success," Markell said after the vote. "This will generate critical revenue to help fund our core commitments."

Delaware is one of only four states in the country -- along with Nevada, Oregon and Montana -- that had sports betting laws on its books when Congress passed the 1992 Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act, which banned states from being in the bookmaking business.

Markell, whose state is facing a nearly $800 million budget deficit, hopes that bringing sports betting to his state will generate more than $50 million in the first year alone.

Delaware had a sports lottery -- basically parlay betting -- for one football season, back in 1976. It failed miserably. But for years the state legislature has been trying to bring it back to take advantage of an increased interest in gaming both nationwide and locally, especially along the condensed mid-Atlantic seaboard, where several states have gaming of some kind. However, former Gov. Ruth Ann Minner opposed the idea.

The newly elected Markell hinted on the campaign trail he was open to sports betting, and then made it the centerpiece of his plan to reduce the state deficit. But when his bill was initially voted on by the Delaware House earlier last week, it was rejected.

Many state legislators disagreed with what the governor was asking struggling local racinos -- horse race tracks that carry video slot machines -- to pay in newly charged licensing fees and increased shares of their handle. Two days later, after a nine-hour negotiation between Markell and leaders in the state legislature, a compromise was reached. In the Senate, the debate and the vote lasted less than 30 minutes.

"I am very pleased the Senate acted so quickly to pass the sports lottery legislation," Markell said.

Less thrilled are the NFL and the NCAA, who both lobbied against the bill. After the vote passed, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said in an e-mail: "We expect that everyone involved in the administration of sports leagues -- professional and amateur -- will review today's action and evaluate its impact as other decisions are made by Delaware officials and the Delaware Supreme Court."

According to the Wilmington (Del.) News Journal, the NFL already has filed a legal brief with the state Supreme Court, arguing that games cannot be considered a situation of chance because skill "plays an impermissible" role.

The state Supreme Court has scheduled a hearing for May 21 to hear arguments on the matter.

Markell has been pushing for his sports betting bill to pass through the Delaware House and Senate quickly, so the state could be ready for action by the NFL season. "That's when we expect most of the betting activity to take place," Markell said earlier this year.

He's hoping to do more than offer up parlays, too. The governor has already asked the State Supreme Court to rule whether or not head-to-head betting is legal in the state. The Court declined to rule until after the bill had become law.

Now that it has, Markell is hopeful he'll get one more vote in his favor.

Hot damn! Legalized Sports betting on the East Coast, MUTHERFUCKER WHAT! I mean how far of a drive is it from here to Delaware?? Is it feasible to go to Atlantic City, pop on down to Dover put in my football bets, and be back in AC for some blackjack? How are more people not talking more about this? This is a glorious day. I hope they start taking bets online. How is New jersey not screaming and trying to have their own mini-vegas happening?

How can a state legalize sports betting but here in Massachusetts we can't even get fucking slot machines in the horse tracks(the only tracks we have left since the dogs got shut down -a loss of 10 million annually to the state). We have politicians who want to raise taxes, tolls and every other fucking thing under the sun. We have people who bitch about the job loss in this state.

We have a way to stop both -
"To see that over $900 million leaves the Commonwealth (of Massachusetts) every year and goes to Connecticut and Rhode Island for gaming, I think that even if we pick up $700 million of that we would all take that," she told a Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce breakfast on Wednesday.

Patrick has said casinos would generate billions of dollars of construction-related spending and tens of thousands of construction and other jobs, along with $400 million in revenue annually net of expected public safety and health costs.

That looks like a whole hell of a lot of cash this state could generate and use for their budgets. They wouldn't have to raise the state tax, the tolls, the inspection stickers or heaven forbid, make any budget cuts.

It would generate jobs, in terms of construction and employment when the casinos are built.

Sorry to take such good news as legalize gambling in Delaware and turn it into a rant about the bullshit politics of this state.

Thirsty Thursday

So much to do and so little time. It seems like every two days there is another trifecta of Boston sports teams all playing at the same time. Well not today boys and girls. Oh they are all playing today but you can enjoy watching them as they are at least staggered.

The Sox play at 3:35
The Celtics play at 7:00, playoffs game 6.
The Bruins play at 8:00, playoffs do or die game 7.
Winner plays the Penguins the loser plays golf.

That means I can go to the bar right after work, grab some food, watch the Sox and pre-game for the Bruins game. The only thing better would be if this was a Friday.

Did anyone happen to catch that Pens-Caps game last night? After such a great first 6 games to the series it looked like game 7 was heading to ESPN as an instant classic. Well no such luck. The Pens dominated the 1st period, then smashed the Caps in the 2nd period and by the time the Caps decided they wanted to start playing there was 10 minutes left in the GAME. After all the hype surrounding the NHL's top 2 superstars(and watching the previous 6 games) this game was lackluster.

Tonight the Red Wing play the Ducks in their own game 7. The winner goes on to play the Blackhawks. Lets just hope this game is better than the Pens-Caps game was.

People are shaving in their staches for Saturday - The 2nd Annual Mustache Pub Crawl. I hope that you can all attend. Drinking is fun. Drinking for a cause is more fun.

I hate Gary plays tonight at Cornwalls in Kenmore square. The team is currently behind 6-5 so we need a strong showing tonight to move on to the 2nd round of the playoffs. If you have no where to watch the games tonight stop on by and support the lads.

Craigslist to Drop Erotic Services Ads

CHICAGO -- Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan said that Craigslist is getting rid of its "erotic services" ads and will create a new adult category that Web site employees will review.

Madigan's office said Wednesday that such existing ads on Craigslist will expire in seven days.

Madigan and the attorneys general for Connecticut and Missouri met with Craigslist officials last week seeking an end to ads they contend are advertisements for illegal sexual activities.

An e-mail sent to Craigslist CEO Jim Buckmaster was not immediately returned Wednesday morning.

Craigslist came under renewed pressure to remove the ads after a medical student in Boston was charged with the April killing of a masseuse he met on the site.

Im calling BULLSHIT on this one, however I can understand why they are doing this. I may take trip to Nashua street jail and beat the bag out that fag Markoff, whos coming with me? Hmmm

Boston doesn't deserve the Cup??

BOSTON Enough, Boston, enough.

Aren't two World Series titles, three Super Bowls and an NBA championship enough? Do you really need the Stanley Cup, too?

The Carolina Hurricanes have a chance to eliminate the Boston Bruins from the playoffs tonight, and they should have the backing of the entire free world of sports fans tired of titles ending up in New England.

That's nothing against the Bruins or their fans specifically. In the first two games the Hurricanes played at TD Banknorth Garden, the fans were loud, rowdy and enthusiastic, even when booing the Bruins off the ice after a 3-0 loss to the Hurricanes in Game 2.

You feel for these people, because they've seen a lot of bad hockey over the past decade. Too much bad hockey, in a building that too often sat empty and lifeless, and for good reason.

"When I got here, we were jealous of those other Boston teams," Bruins defenseman Andrew Ference said. "We wanted a piece of that, and we set out to do it."

You'd like to root for them to see a Stanley Cup in Boston for the first time in almost 30 years, because they're good hockey fans who have made this once again a great hockey town, and the game of hockey needs it that way.

But you can't, because they're still Boston fans, and you can't bear to see the rest of the residents of this wonderful, charming city get any more insufferable.

Boston Celtics fans went from reminiscing about the golden days to yelling about the current days. Boston Red Sox fans went from patient, downtrodden stoics to the most obnoxious bunch of braggarts outside of New York.

(Hey, Sox fans: There's another group of long-suffering fans who were waiting even longer than you for a mere appearance in the World Series, let alone a championship, and are still waiting. Ask a Chicago Cubs fan about a ball going through a first baseman's legs to lose a playoff game, and he'll say Leon Durham did it first, in 1984.)

As for the New England Patriots, well, if you didn't grow up with it, it's hard to root for a team run by the most cynical, ruthless, mechanical coach in the NFL. Rooting for the Patriots is like rooting for the swine flu, except the swine flu might be more likable.

Oh, for the days when Boston fans savored their misery and altered the "reverse curve" sign on Storrow Drive to "reverse the curse." You felt for Boston fans back then, because they cared so much and received so little. Is it too late to reverse all this success?

Stephen King, long-suffering Red Sox fan: sympathetic. Most Red Sox fans these days: characters in a King novel.

Which brings us to the Bruins, the only Boston team waiting to win a fresh title. The rebirth of the Bruins is an amazing thing, and the new Garden is rocking just like the old Garden did, at least as close as it will ever get.

When they play the Dropkick Murphys' "Shipping off to Boston" in the third period, and the whole crowd sings along with the "Whoa oh oh" chorus, it's stirring.

The renaissance of the Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks has been fantastic for the game of hockey, because the poor management of these two Original Six teams hamstrung the NHL for too long. The league is lucky those markets were dormant, not dead.

The NHL needs strong teams in those cities, and thankfully, Bruins fans voted with their feet, forcing the Bruins to join the 21st century.

With a Harvard-educated Canadian lawyer as general manager, the Bruins spent big money to bring Zdeno Chara to Boston, outbid other teams for the services of 21-year-old free agent Blake Wheeler last summer and have a strong core of young players.

So bravo to the Bruins for bringing hockey back to life in Boston, but let's stop it there. Their fans deserve a title, no question about it, but the city of Boston has had more than its share lately.

It's time for the Hurricanes to say the same thing to Boston teams that anyone stuck sitting on a plane next to a Red Sox fan has been saying for the past five years: Enough.

- Thanks to MJT and the Charlotte Observer

I don't know how to feel about this. I mean the guy isn't really bashing the Bruins but rather all the front running fans of the New England area. And he has a point. Pink hat nation makes us all look like dicks to the rest of the sports world. I don't know what mastermind decided that a real fan has to join Red Sox nation but he is a dick. I am pretty sure buying tickets to games, team jerseys, and a few hats makes you a fan. Not paying $100 bucks for a card to be a member of Red Sox Nation! Like I said he has good points but I say fuck him. The Bruins have as much right as any other team still playing for Lord Stanley's cup. Let them play it out on the ice. I had no beef with the Carolina Whalers until they started taking dives, cheap shots and then bitching about the Bruins physical play.

Eric Staal you are probably the best of all of the Staals, you already have a Stanley Cup but come Friday morning you will be making tee times for you and your buddies.
