This is what I learned this weekend:

I have decided to hold off posting things I learned until tomorrow. The Bruins have a huge game 6 tonight and I figure there will be plenty of things for me to add.

Summer will be here Friday

This is going to be a bad bad week for me and my liver. Bruins game tonight, Both games of the Sox double header tomorrow, Bruins game on Wednesday, The Chipman family pig roast and watching the Bruins game Saturday.  I may need to detox on Sunday.

This is what I learned this weekend:
1. If white chicks are gonna put their cleavage out there and its SUPER GHOST WHITE then that is called Game of Throne titties.
2. Joe Martell loves the new chicken sandwiches from Dunkin Donuts.
3. Chrissy has started getting some much needed OT down at Coke.
4. Foxwoods is offering me 2 free tickets to the Counting Crows and the Wall Flowers. You guys know the Crows are my shit.
5. The new Superman movie is fucking awesome.
6. It is embarrassing that I can not give away a $100 ticket to go to the Sox game tomorrow night.
7. Building a trellis for cucumbers is not all that difficult.
8. Never ever ever get on a roof when its above 60 degrees. I burned the palm of both my hands!
9. US Flags are more expensive than I thought.
10. There is no easy/fast way to stop a dogs tongue from bleeding.
11. Mario has a friend who is giving up a husky, if anyone is interested.
12. Why is it so god damn hard to find a packie that sells Miller High Life Light?
13. Just a reminder I am having a cookout July 6th.
14. Back Seat Lover has broken up. While devastating news, I guess some members are uniting with some members of Itchy Fish and they are putting a new band together.

Im not apologizing

I tried all day yesterday to update this blog but no luck. Seems like IT was putting the kibosh on it. Well after some digging around... LOOK AT ME NOW! You can slow me down but ya can't hold me down.

This is what I learned this weekend:
1. The Bruins band wagoneers didn't show up until this Penguins series, and I think that was just to gloat if the B's lost.
2. You ever try to do some fancy dance moves in an elevator? Feels weird, kinda like when you jump in one.
3. Congrats to Mike and Kate on their bouncy baby boy.
4. I am indifferent to the whole Pats signing Tebow but I can not wait till everyone who hated the move are all of a sudden pumped IF he does well. BUNCHA HYPOCRITES.
5. Uncle Ronnie is banging out Jeffreys second floor addition at a record pace.
6. Jeb has a 65 lb pig for the roast. June 22nd can not come fast enough.
7. Joe Q and TK are like the 2 old guys in the muppets.
8. Jeff was like a kid at a candy store at the Bs game.
9. Building an outdoor water fountain for the dogs was not that hard.
10. This year is fucking flying by.
11. People are pissed about this whole Duxbury beach fiasco.
12. How much would you pay to name Chrissys new baby?
13. When will this fucking weather make up its mind? Hot, cold, hot, hot, hot, cold, cold, hot, rain, rain, rain, more god damn rain. What about some warm days mother nature?

Day late and a dollar short

1. Yes, I had Monday off so there was no blog.

9. Never ever a good thing to have your bedroom being rained in but then again when you don't have a roof on your house and its pouring out.
10. After using central AC for a week, I could never go back to window units.
11. This years Dot day bowl off winner is Chrissy, by 10 pins, what color shirt should we make him?
12. Only thing worse than a tooth ache is an ear ache (as an adult).

Dot day is coming

Whats up bitches! Its been a while. Yes, I worked yesterday but I figured that all you fucks were out enjoying the weather so I decided to not post yesterday. Eat a dick if you don't like it.

1. Picking out a deck stain is not as easy as I thought it would be.

5. Sometimes I forget my wife is not from around here, so I was surprised she had never been to the Museum of Fine Arts. That has been rectified. I recommend seeing the Samurai exhibit.

8. Glad to see the weather is starting to pick up for the end of this week.

Where the fuck is spring?

It seems like any time we string 3 nice days together mother natures shows up with her pimp hand and smacks us all back down. How can it be 70 during the day then all of a sudden its 36 at night? I mean is my heat off for the summer or what? Last week I left work and it was 77 degrees by the time I got home it was 52. That was a huge kick in the dick! Just bring us some nice staying weather please.

This is what I learned this weekend:
1. Some people have long hair envy. Its out there so keep your head on a swivel.
2. Cuba and North Korea are the only places that Coca Cola is not sold.
3. There are rumors circulating that Chrissy may be reselling Mustache Pub Crawl shirts on the open market for $25 a piece.
4. I finally made it to Toscas in Hingham. It was pretty damn good, pricey, but good.
5. Iron Man 3 was damn good. I don't think anyone else could ever play Tony Stark other than Robert Downey.
6. The Chiefdude is taking a break from tattoos until at least August.
7. Is there anything worse than a frustrated dog who can not go for walks. Loads and loads of pent up energy.
8. I know I say it every year but I need to get to the Derby just once.
9. My lawn mower is all fucked up and I don't know how it happened.
10. The center of Scituate is pretty quaint.
11. Has anyone heard or seen Tommy Newton lately? He was supposed to borrow my truck the past 2 Saturdays and he was MIA both times.

It seems like a lot of tension has been removed from the air since the terrorists have been caught. People can now start to recover and try to deal with how altered their lives have become. The bombing victims and their families are never far from my prayers. I hope that you keep them close to your hearts as well. Please remember the moment of silence today at 2:50.

Sad day

I was not going to post today because of the events that took place yesterday afternoon. I hemmed and hawed and went back and forth with myself. Then I read a post online that you have to go about your daily routine or else the Terrorist win. Well this little shitty blog that I post is part of my routine(as much as you checking to read it is part of yours) and Ill be damned if  some dirty cuntbag is going to alter my routine.

Here are things that I learned this weekend:
1. FUCK TERRORIST - FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC!


2. Newton is looking for a new home for his dog Snuffy (a 9 year old cocker spaniel):

3. Jeffrey pours beers into his shots before he drinks them.
4. Looks like April 28th is the day for the deck building party - who wants to dig some footings!!
5. Stand up thing by Danny Amendola to donate $100 for every catch and $200 for every drop next season to a "Boston Marathon Relief Fund".
6. The Mustache Pub Crawl tee shirts are in.
7. Its funny when Chrissy goes on vacation he also becomes MIA.
8. It is bizarre to me that people think Nomar, Tek and Nixon should have their number retired.
9. Bill Smiddy made it out back to back weekends.
10. Jack n Jill baby showers are weird.
11. I am blessed to have a lot of great people in my life, who checked up on me to make sure I wasn't caught up in yesterdays activities. They knew I go to the Marathon Monday game each year and that I frequent the finish line area. Marathon Monday has always been my favorite drinking day of the year.
12. Anyone bitching about the Bruins or the Celtics games being rescheduled should get a punch in the face. So that they have a real reason to bitch.

Yes, I am posting on Tuesday but that's only because yesterday was opening day.

This is what I learned this weekend:
1. Sometimes calling in sick just aint worth it.
2. Chrissy's doctor made some accusatory remarks in regards to his daughters injuries. Keep ya head on a swivel Chrissy!
3. Brewer is alive and working at Gem. JACKIE FUCKING MOON!
4. Fenway was a shit show yesterday with the beer lines. I know the beers are $5 for the month of April but man people were acting like it was their 1st time at a game.

Australia Drink Driving

A COUPLE have each been charged with drink driving not once but twice in a day in a bizarre chain of events on North Stradbroke Island, off Brisbane. 
 
Dunwich police conducted a road side breath test on a female driver in Snapper Street, Point Lookout about 1pm.
The 27-year-old recorded a reading of .126 percent and was charged with drink driving. (I don't know if they call drunk driving - drink driving, down under)

A short time later police stopped the same car which was now being driven by the passenger, a 34-year-old man from Redbank Plains.

He recorded a breath test reading of .110 per cent and was also charged with drink driving.

The couple were released but shortly afterwards the man was observed by police in Point Lookout driving the vehicle again.

The man again recorded a positive breath test and was charged with drink driving as well as driving while suspended.


Incredibly the couple returned to their vehicle and the woman again got behind the wheel.

They were again stopped by police and the woman was n charged with drink driving and driving while suspended.

Both will appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court on May 14.

I applaud these two. Drunk at 1pm, 2 DUI's EACH and then both driving on a suspended license. You know they were on their way to some bar to get even more fucked up. April Fools

I have never been one to get into April Fools day. Maybe because I am not into practical jokes or maybe it is because life is a big fucking joke. Either way its just not my thing. Hey if you want to gift wrap your co-workers computer and chair - go for it. If you feel like swapping out someones roast beef sandwich for liverwurst, who am I to stop ya. I am just saying April first means baseball season.

Today is  opening day, we get to see what kind of Red Sox team we have. I know tons of you fair weathered fans have jumped on to the next hot team and all that means to me is tickets at face value and plenty of them. Bring on the 2013 season!!

I love Easter

I love Easter and not because Lent is over but because I love a good ham dinner. So if anyone wants to stop by for ham dinner on Sunday, that is where I will be.

This is what I learned this weekend:

1. Alaska is the eastern most state in the US. Yeah you read that right. Part of the Aleutian Islands are the eastern most part of the world.

2. Gerard Butler is a bad ass in Olympus has Fallen. The movie was top notch.

3. The Chiefdude likes to get after it with Sam Lights.

4. Mikey Layden is on pace to make 200K this year. I am now referring to him as Dr. Layden, even changed him in my phone as such.

5. How can your great aunt die and no one tell you?

6. Anyone know anything about building a garden pond? I think my front lawn may need one.

8. The Lux level at the movies is a bit much for me. I like beers being delivered and all but not at the expense of someone standing in front of me while I am watching a movie.

Off the market

A big Congrats is in order for Suzanne Carey and Sean "the Silent Funneler" Connors on their engagement. On a Saturday night filled with romance and naughtiness, Sean popped the big question.
Little Suzy could not say yes fast enough. Rumors are flying that Ella may have a cousin on the way!! YIPPEEEE! Disney here we come.
