Things I learned this weekend:
1. The tournament is in full swing. The games have been awesome and entertaining.
2. Louisville and Memphis don't look like they are scaring anyone.
3. UMass Lowell has a legit gripe about that loss to BU - After seeing the review 100% a goal.
4. The Bruins toughed out a good win yesterday.
5. Since being back in love, Smiddy has abandoned Sunday Funday.
6. I am in desperate need of a haircut, yet I am too lazy to get one.
7. Working on the weekends is not that bad.
8. Not drinking on the weekends; doesn't make you feel better on Monday monrning.
9. BC is over rated! OVER-RATED! OVER-RATED!

The Bruins seemed to have gotten their swagger back. Rio and I attended last nights game and he noted there were quite a large number of Puck Sluts in attendance. I would have to agree. The Bruins are winning. The Puck Sluts are out. Spring is coming. St. Pattys day is 2 weeks away. All is good in Boozeville!

Saint Patricks day is coming. You know what that means(Besides the nasty green beer) - the annual Southie, St. Pattys day parade!!

The list of my unemployed friends grew this past week with Chrissy getting laid off. Then his second job also cut back on his hours. Bad week to be Christian Daniel Macphail.
He is now taking propositions for $MONEY$. Rumor has it he will let you get him tatted up if you pay for the tat and give him $100.

Its Wednesday AKA William J Smiddys favorite day of the week - HUMP DAY! Speaking of the Smidawg, let's all pray for him. Today he is heading to the doctors for a Cortisone shot. He really hurt his back from playing three sports while growing up. Smidawg we wish you a speedy recovery.
I had the new Dunkin Donuts waffle sandwich today. Let me tell you this: It IS LEGIT!

Hump day is the best day.
I guess we can chat about a few things today.

1. I mean when is the snow going to stop? It seems like once a week there is some snow fall. Plus these weather men are never right(or is it weather persons). One minute they forcast 12-16"'s of snow but we end up with 3-5"'s? Maybe it is not the snow that is getting to me as it is people with their lawn chairs, cones, barrels, milk crates, or any other piece of old furniture that they are leaving out to hold their spots. As much as I am bitching about the snow, the last time anyone actually had to shovel it was in 2008. This shit has been the light and fluffy variety since the get go. It may be time to call Mayor Menino's office and take him to task with the object removal.

So basically you bet $100 bucks to win $245. I know Pittsburgh has a nice defense but I don't think you can take all of Kurt Warner's offensive weapons. I like this bet.
Now the real question is where to watch the Super Bowl? Since the Patriots are not in it some people seem disinterested. The bars are not offering any food specials, drink specials and I still have no god damn squares.
The Celtics play at noon, The Bruins play at 2pm and the big game is at 6:15 that is a whole lot of sports and even more drinking.

I mean I am not begging just trying to add some variety to this blog.
On a side note, I should have some new 2009 FrankBrown video to post later. He sent me a text message this morning "Wait 4 lunch this ones gona blow ur mind!"(that is his exact text). I don't know what he could possible do to blow my mind but I am as excited as kid waiting for Christmas.
Chiefdude and Ferlauto were chatting about the idea of a military draft and this rolls off Ferlauto's tongue "You guys will go and I'll be here banging your girlfriends and wives. I have served my time". It was one of the funniest things I have heard all day.

Every know I love Wednesdays, AKA Hump Day!!
So while I sit at my desk fucking around online I figured I would post.
Just a quick list...
1. Chrissy's Mustache week 2...
Hopefully he will have a real manly stache by the time the 2nd Annual Mustache Pub crawl rolls around.
2. FrankBrown seems to be MIA. If anyone has seen or heard from FrankBrown please let me know. I am just a little worried.
3. I think that I am giving straight cash for xmas gifts. If you are on my list thats what you are getting, no suprises and I don't have to shop - WIN WIN!
4. Here are some quick odds for Saturday Street Hockey game:
Over/Under on injuries 4.5
Over/Under on blood being spilled 2.5 times
Over/Under on fights 2
Over/Under on Chrissys goals 1.5
Over/Under on the number of people to show 25
5. Has Smiddy found someone to go to the Bruins game with yet?
6. I basically just forwarded that Santarchy below. I think it is a great idea and I would love to participate but I have the hockey game and then the Xmas party. If anyone does go on it please forward me some pictures so I can post em on here.
7. It doesn't seem like anyone is doing anything much for New Years Eve. Times are tough. Maybe the bars should stop trying to rape people to get in and hang out on New Years. IF BAR A (Insert Bar/Club of the week) IS FREE TO GET IN ON FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY THEN WHY WOULD I PAY 75 BUCKS TO GO ON A WEDNESDAY NIGHT FOR NEW YEARS??
The open bar all you can drink one price for the night at $100.00 bucks are totally different; considering I spend way more than that on a night out drinking.
8. This weather is totally fucking nuts. 11 degrees on a Monday, 65 on a Tuesday, and then snow on a Wednesday...TOTALLY FUCKING NUTS. Thanks Global Warming.
9. It seems like companies are laying people off left and right yet people don't seem to mind. They are lining up for unemployment -
10. Naming your kids Adolph Hitler, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation, and Honszlynn Himler Jeannie is probably sealing their future with:
A. No friends
B. Endless ass kickings and ass reamings from now till the end of time
C. Low self esteem when they actually learn who/what they are named after.
D. PITY PITY PITY

Playoff bus rolls on
It is Friday and we all know what happens on Fridays...WANNA B'S LIST UPDATE:

Great playoff win by Peggy O's. It was a race to 12 wins - Tuesday we came away with a 7-4 lead and last night we put it away with a 5-1 drubbing. As you can see from Handsome Jared, sometimes we take our drinking a little bit more serious than our darts.
For the 1st round of the playoffs the team named me the MVP. Now if you have seen me play darts you know that in of itself is a major feat. I played my best darts of my life. Great job by everyone this season - Handsome Jared, Supah P, Welchie, Foley, and J-Rock. Sorry to see Chuck T, MikeyShits, Gary and Mike G all quit or come up short in their commitment to Tuesday night darts. Lets keep this ball rolling.
If anyone would like to come and support us we have to play team "Camel Toe" at the 76 Corner Club in East Boston. Hopefully we play them at their place on Tuesday and then our bar on Thursday.

5. The street hockey game is Next Saturday, December 20th, 2pm till 4pm. Hopefully all can make it.
6. Only 13 more shopping days till Christmas.
7. My 31st birthday is 16 days away...lets all get drunk.
8. The end of the ADSL fantasy football season get together is fast approaching. 3 Sundays away on December 28th at The Atlantic Beer garden. Come by to cheer Smidawgs on. See who wears the dress to next years draft.

Tuesdays rumblings
The Mustache Pub Crawl is scheduled for Saturday May 16th, 2009.
Since Chrissy has a hard time growing facial hair we will keep an updated photo log.
Here is week 1:
Tonight we start playoff darts. The team came in 2nd place overall in our division and the 5th overall seed for the tournament. If you are bored and want to come down and support Peggy O's 1 we will be starting around 8pm at Peggy O'Neils.
The holiday season is fast approaching so you know what that means:
1. Holiday shopping - Lines Lines Lines!
2. Family get togethers - Is that crazy Aunt/uncle going to show up?
3. Holiday work parties - Will you get too bombed and embarrass yourself?
4. Stress Stress Stress - Money Money Money
5. Awkward gift giving - Did they/didn't they buy me something?? Did I spend too much?
6. Too much to do not enough time - All these parties, shopping, work shit
7. Gluttony - Too many holiday meals
8. Crazy drunkenness - Relieve the seasons stress
9. Phoniness - everyone being fake, happy, in love - I'm Calling BULLSHIT!
10. New Years - Out with the Old and In with the new

1. Puck Slut is not a flattering term.
2. Smiddys love life is like a "windmill".
3. Rio likes draft beers ALOT and drinks them FAST.
4. Mugging up on the dance floor is totally acceptable by ANYONE & EVERONE at the bar! Ehem Smiddy!
5. Ned Devines beers are $5.50 each! FIVE FIFTY!!! A mixed drink is only $7.00. Why would I buy beers when I can get gas for a $1.50 more?

I know, I know I always write on Fridays. Well yesterday I wasn't feeling it so... SUCK IT!!
Lets start with a shot gun beer for breakfast, FrankBrown style:
Frank keep trying to make them shotguns a little bit faster. One day you may be able to beat an 11th grader.
Now lets put our glasses on so that we can read this a little bit better:
Last night was Hanson Brothers Night, from Slap Shot,at the Bruins game. The first 10,000 fans got these glasses. Mikey T was fortunate enough to score a pair.
This is where we were sitting - Matty, Brian, Mikey T and I. Not bad for some free seats. The Bruins really hook you up when you buy season tickets. Four free tickets to a game, two rows from the ice? Thanks Mr. Jacobs.
Since it is Saturday and all I usually do is watch College Football, here are my picks for today:
West Virginia -7 over Louisville - Pat White can not be stopped
Virginia +3 over Clemson - Al Groh at home
Vanderbuilt -3 over Tennessee - Fulmer it was time to call it quits last year
Michigan State +15.5 over Penn State - I'll take the points, even though MSU hasn't beaten Penn State at home since 1965
ECU -6.5 over UAB - WHAT THE FUCK IS UAB??
IOWA -6 over Minnesota - I like the Golden Gophers at home but I think Shonn Green is too much for them.
Tomorrow we should all be down the new Atlantic Beer garden watching football and drinking beers. Feel free to stop down
