Its Friday so lets get the weekend started
1st off I tried the breakfast at Wendys, if you get the opportunity to get something there for breakfast - DON'T!!! It was FUCKING TERRIBLE.
So I posted some photos below of the parade.
Over all it was a good time BUT it went by wayyy too fast.
You couldn't really tell what players were on the duck boats until they were right up to where we were standing. So I was scrambling to take pictures.
Some highlights:
KG is crazy...CRAZY and he will eat your children
Big Baby is a riot without his shirt on pointing and yelling at everyone
Glenn Rivers really looked like he was enjoying it the most
Danny Ainge and Wyc were screaming like they actually played in the series
Sam Cassell didn't seem to care if he was there or not
Leon Powe and Kendrick were like kids in a candy store
I didn't get to see E-House but he was on the boat with Rondo
Paul Pierce was holding onto that MVP trophy and showing it off like a proud daddy
Ray Allen sat right in the middle and he was pimping
But in the end it was all about this:
There were too many drunk teenagers around. The Pepsi crew I was calling them. They all had Pepsi big slams that were flat and half full...how many nips can you fit into the Big Slam?
Does anyone know?? I bet Chrissy knows. He has a way with those kind of things. AND WHERE CAN YOU FIND THE BIG SLAM ANYMORE?
After the fastest parade in America was over and everyone tried to race past us to catch up to it we went over to Beer Works for lunch. They got some really good food there.
Onto DJS for a celebratory Guinness. Then off to see Matty at Cheers, for a few Tic tacs- like whoa. Couldn't be in Fanuel Hall without stopping to see Aiden at JJ Donovans. You know we have to go and have some good laughs at the Hong Kong - hello Karaoke. Lastly when you find yourself at THE PLACE(after you have been drinking all day) you know its probably time to grab a cab and head home.

The CELTICS did it!! Winning 131-92 and sending the LAKERS home for the summer...hope you guys like golfing with Higgins.
What a game by Rajon Rondo - 21 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, and 6 steals and by the way Derek Fisher you GOT RONDO'D!!
Paul Pierce was lights out, AGAIN - 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 10 assist.
Kevin Garnett - 26 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists.
Sugar Ray Allen chipping in 26 points after getting poked in the eye by Lamar Odom (Joey Crawford must of been checking his hair while that non call was going on).
Wait a minute:

Celtics Bench showed that they can contribute as well with 39 points, 6 assists and 9 rebounds.
Kobe had a typical Kobe night - 22 points and 4 assists on 7-22. MUST OF BEEN A BUNCH OF BUNNIES THAT HE MISSED.
Mike and I were down at DJ's with Folan drinking and watching anxiously for the clincher. There were so many police officers in their riot gear with these huge broom handled sticks, looked like shit you see in movies.
On a side note: I honestly don't understand why, when a sports team wins any type of championship (football, baseball, basketball or hockey) people have to riot/break shit? I mean throwing trash cans through windows serves what purpose other than YOU ARE AN ASSHOLE?? "Yes the Celtics won", now lets be miscreants and fuck up the neighborhood!! Makes perfect sense...Buncha DOUCHE BAGS!! Karma is a bitch mutherfuckers.
Moving on. The Rolling Rally starts tomorrow at 11 am and I WILL BE THERE - WHO IS COMING WITH ME? Some one? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? See you guys tomorrow at the Celebration.

Man...
Why do I feel like I got Rondo'd???
I am a mess today. I could still be drunk, I want to puke and to top it all off the Celtics LOST!
Paul Pierce practically got raped on one play and there was no call. I am calling BULLSHIT AND HORSESHIT. I hope Dick Bavetta gets a LAKERS RING after the calls he was making...FUCKING TWERP! I HATE FUCKING TWERPS!!!
Ok I am over that (FOR NOW)...Now onto other things and happenings:
The MGM Grand at Foxwoods was pretty nice. The decor is trendy and modern - much more VEGASY than Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods. The overall casino is rather small but it fits with their theme. The clientele didn't seem as dirty and trashy as the other 2 casinos but hell it was fathers day and they have only been open a month so time will tell if that keeps up.
Kates and I had lunch at Craft Steak, I am not impressed and I probably wouldn't go back. I mean $150.00 bucks for lunch and there was nothing really that wowed me.
We went to visit Kates family for Fathers day, on Saturday, and we got stuck in that shitty storm. They had flood warnings, hail and 70 MPH WINDS...yeah we made it home in one piece. I know you were worried.
To all you fucking Dickheads who wanted a game 6...you got it! Game 6 tomorrow night at the TD Bank North Garden. I will be at DJS if anyone wants to come down and have a few beers and HOPEFULLY celebrate #17.
We still have a few tickets left for Buffett, Saturday September 6th. If you want to go let me know. The sooner the better - whoever has their money 1st gets theirs...right now the crew is Me, Mike, Jeffrey and Rydawg AKA the SKZA. We will tailgate and get bombed and make it do what it do!!!

IT’S OVER BUT……..
I am hoping the Lakers win Sunday night. Before you go too crazy let me explain. The Championship should be won at TD Banknorth (I’ll never refer to it as the Garden) in front of the home fans and not on the road. The true fans, and not the ones that jumped on the bandwagon this year (yes Mitchell I’m talking about you), deserve to witness a Championship. It’s been more than 20 years since the last Celtics Championship and the fans that have stuck with the C’s despite some really bad teams deserve to witness a championship being won on their home court.

BEAT L.A.
For those of you younger than 30 years old and those that were to drunk to remember the 80’s (William Flaherty) lets talk about where the BEAT L.A. chant came from. And no it wasn’t the Detroit series which WEEI reported it was a few weeks ago. Game 7 of the 1982 Conference Finals at the Garden versus the Philadelphia 76ers. The Celtics went on to lose this game 120 – 106 and during the final moments of the game the Celtics fans started the chant of BEAT L.A. in hopes that the Lakers would be taken down in the Finals. This is one of the few classy moments in Boston sports fan history. The 76ers team led by Dr. J, Mo Cheeks, Darrel Dawkins, and the immortal Andrew Toney (aka The Boston Strangler) failed in their attempt to knock of the Lakers.

Game 3...the push for 17!
Game 3 is in the books. The Celtics came close but just couldn't come out on top.
Rondo got hurt, Leone couldn't get going, Pauly Pierce and KG couldn't score if they were in a whore house with a wad full of
' s!!!!
Glad to see E-House on the floor, that made my night. Sugar Ray was there to keep us in it. But in the end the Celtics lost by 6...I guess thats some sort of Moral Victory. WE CAN NOT BE HAPPY WITH MORAL VICTORIES PEOPLE!!
Game 4 is Thursday night, so be ready.
DJs will be giving away game 7 tickets at half time. There was a really good crowd there last night and since It will be Thirsty Thursday I'd expect a better crowd with more booze bags.
DJS will be hosting a back to the 80's night on Saturday night.
Everyday Yellow will be playing all 80's cover songs. Dress up in your best 80's garb for prizes!!
And now onto more fun things:
I purchased season tickets to the Boston Bruins
for next season. If anyone is interested in buy a few games let me know(or if you just want to be added to the email group for tickets). As soon as the schedule comes out, I will let send out the email and as soon as the tickets are gone...they are GONE!

Monday Musings...
Few things for a busy Monday:
I was Thinking about going to the casino on Friday, I would like to check out the new MGM Grand. if you want to go let me know...
Game 2 is in the books and I am not going to lie. I WAS SCARED! BUT Celtics Win 108-102!!
I thought the Celtics were going to let that one slip away. I leave the bar with a little over 6 minutes to go and the Celtics up by 24, TWENTYFUCKINGFOUR, and I get home in time to watch the last minute of the game...lets just say I almost soiled my boxers! Not at all what I expected. I THANK the basketball gods for Leon Powe... "Powe the Show".
This is a series and thats what all the experts wanted.
I highly doubt the Celtics will get any calls in LA LA LAND!

HUGE WIN BY THE BOSTON CELTICS 98-88 (covering the -2.5 point spread but not the Over/Under 192)
1. Rondo and Cassell proved to be a good 1-2 punch, 23 points and eight assists.
2. KG IS A MAN CHILD, 24 points and 13 rebounds
3. Ray Allen has morphed from Allen Ray back to his old self, 19 points and holding Kobe in check.
4. Paul Pierce pulls himself off the parquet floor to do his best Willis Reed impersonation, 22 points...19 in the second half.
5. PJ Brown not a bad job holding it down for Kendrick!!

And the winner is....
First off I would like to thank everyone who showed up for the bowl off. Good times and I am still sore as hell.
Secondly I want to Congratulate Stevie on a great win!! It was a battle, he dethroned a champ and edges out Chrissy by 4 pins.
Lastly for those of you who came out to Peggys for the all day drinkfest, another great Dot Day had by all. I think Jeffrey may still be sitting on the stage trying to read those Karaoke songs...but what the hell do I know I WAS BOMBED!!! If you said you were going to show and you blew off the festivities; well then your just an asshole.
