TMX year end review

The TMX year end wrap up is here, its the country edition ya'll. It was a long ( too long for some we're sure) 17 weeks but it has ended and a champ has been crowned. The new belt owner will be DMC who won for the first time in his ten years in the league!! TMX predicted this in the preseason!! The beer bitch will be Supah P's and the dress wearer with be Equalizers. Lotta laugh this year as always and we hope all enjoyed the season and will be back next year lets take a brief look at each team.

First overall was DMC who had the first pick and was able to ride AP and make some moves to get top D Broncos in a lopsided trade.  DMC started the season off with a last place week 1 and wasn't til week 8 they made their move hopping in the 2nd spot then taking over number one in week 10 and never looking back! DMC also became the first team in history to post 200pts in a week doing it TWICE. All in all a great season put together with a solid draft, nice trades and waiver wire moves. The hunter becomes the hunted next year but the belt is in his possession all summer.



2nd overall was Jaybirds. Second place is a great place to be in and TMX is always staying positive but this team was built to win and questions will be why it didn't. TMX stats dept which is well documented to be run by a crack group due to the budget problems at drunknothings , found out that Jaybirds had the top 3 wrs on his roster ALL SEASON. Those 3 totaled 1,050 points this season!! Equalizers entire team only scored 700 more points for the season!! Jaybirds never spent a day below second place but one has to wonder, how with those numbers, he didn't run away with the league. There will be some soul searching at Jaybirds but TMX is confident he will find the answers to get over the hump.



3rd place this season was Mr. Don't ask him he'll tell you Charlie's Angels. The Angels were up in the mix all season except when they dropped to 6th in week 8 and seemed to be stuck but in week 15 with nice waiver help and some bad management from the teams ahead they made their move and secured it in week 16. Charlies' when not congratulating themselves was often on TMX with having some of the best guys benched in the league. Not sure if making the right plays all season could have led to a better finish? Next season Charlies should be in the hunt and telling the league about it as he does it.



4th place this season was Beach Bums. This is the first time since joining the league that Beach Bums didn't win a week, Just like Cal Ripkens steak, this will not be broken. The Bums seemed to be in a funk all season long (Or maybe it was all the teams Coach K was involved in). They never went below 7th place and I'm sure felt they were one player or week away but it never came. 4th place is by no means a bad season but the two time champs have to consider it an off year.



5th place this year was Slippery Wizards. The defending champs finished strong but never had anything going. A draft that saw them take Lynch, Murray and TY Hilton as the first three guys proved to be too tough to comeback from. Wizards were the only team other than last place Equalizers to spend more than one week in the basement. They did finish 5th on the year which was the highest they got all year so maybe they can build on that (are we counting the play offs too).



6th place for the year was Creepshots. Creepshots was in the mix all year dipping to 6th in week 5 but then controlling the third spot from week 7-14! With a great trade to get possible MVP Cam Newton they look like a sure thing til the week 15 DISASTER. Creepshots chose to sit Cam who put up 61pts!! That signaled the end for Creepshots. TMX did some investigating to see if collusion was involved cuz the Newton benching was that inexplicable but we came up with nothing (Good work Wes Cash)!!  Tough way to end a season but TMX is sure they will be back and will take risks next year too.



7th place this year was Skza's Squad. Skza's did their usual getting points where you wouldn't think they would and starting guys who were hurt.One of only two teams that didn't win a week, Skza's started out in the top 5 but then later in the season when the byes hit and they started more zero's than anyone in the history of ADSL ( #statsbyme)  they were stuck in the 7 and 8 slot where they would land. Next year a focused Skza's could make a run for the money



8th place this year was Black Dynomite. It a season that can only be labeled a disappointment, BD held on to the number one spot for 4 weeks then held the 4th spot looking outside at the money for 4 more weeks only to collapse at the end and end up one spot from beer bitch. Black Dynomite I'm sure is circling the wagons ( see what we did there) and checking their networks to find their way back to the top.




9th place and beer bitch this year is Supah P's. Supah's got hit by injuries right out the gate losing Nelson and Fat Eddie lacy had an off year as the number one pick. The scrappy Supahs found life on the wire and rose to 4th but by week 11 they locked themselves into spot 9 never to rise back up. A rough season for Supah's but they managed to the end and will be back in the mix next year.



10th place and the dress wearer this year is Equalizers. The season they had was for the ages complete with a final week of 46pts!  Equalizers were in 6th place after week 1 then never got pass 9. Furthermore they were in the basement every week but FOUR. Let that sink in as TMX reminds you in week 8 they got a season high 72pts from Drew Brees!! Surprisingly the even won a week. Just an absolute remarkably bad season that deserves an equally remarkable dress. Don't disappoint Equalizers.

Week 15 in the books

TMX week 15 Christmas edition is here. As is the custom we keep it quick and simple as TMX knows the crew likes to get to spiking the eggnog for the holiday parties.

  No team by team recap but we will still make some calls up first the Carolina Defense who had been carrying Black Dynomite but this week only put up 6pts. Hey Panthers D whats good its TMX " oh man TMX great to hear from you hope your not calling bout that punk OBJ that fool still crying?" Well we are calling about the 6pts you put up when Black Dynomite needed you? " oh yeah. Anyway we are tired of talking about that OBJ clown, yeah we brought bats on the field but no biggie we always do, don't see why everyone is talking about it. We are just trying to go undefeated"  Uhhm well TMX isn't talking about it we want to know how you had such a bad week? " I mean OBJ isn't even that good, don't get the big deal? Norman is defensive player of the year but everyone talking about OBJ he's a nobody" Well guys I see this is going nowhere, we get it OBJ thing was a big deal but its over. Well for some!! Have a good Christmas. " yeah you too TMX hope OBJ gets coal guys is out of control does it just to get his name out there, tired of it." Uhhm yeah. Up next a TMX first instead of calling a player on Charlies Angels  we are going to call Los gm of Black Dynomite with some great news involving Charlies Angels. Hey Los its TMX ! " Fury, Fury? That you Fury? " No its TMX fantasy football reporting site. Calling to tell you that you are no longer the most hated team in ADSL! What a Christmas present! " Wait, so the league got a new black team in there? cuz I know that's why y'all be hating! Plus I win at the draft every year! Had a wagon this year too!! " Well no theres not a new black team ( not that adsl is against it) but Charlies Angels and their self congratulations has just recently been name most hated team in the league ( poll was anonymously conducted and two people still picked you Los, with the Beach Weasels still received a vote). " oh wait that dude is  hated cuz self congratulating? I've been doing that for years. Garbage. Its racial, you guys cant even let a black team  be most hated!! " Well we were hoping this would be good news guess not? "Later TMX and this racist league, I'm still most hated just wait til next years draft". Well we tried to bring holiday cheer to Black Dynomite . Guess not?.

 Well, well, well its tight at the top and cant go without mentioning Creepshots getting cute sitting Cam and now is on the outside looking in at that money!! TMX investigated possible collusion/point shaving with Beach Weasles but so far we cant confirm or deny! The final two weeks should be fun. Merry Christmas and lets finish strong with no injuries and the right plays as there is still 75 bucks a week out there. TMX OUT

TMX draft review

Football is just about back and the ADSL draft has come to an end so here's is TMX with all the glass shattering details!! The regular board guy Mario Longdashian ( see this kids wedding? hence the name change) was unavailable so we  had two chicks that were never got introduced to and my man Tito, which some wish they were never introduced to!!! The draft was surprisingly quick this year so much so that a few unnamed extended the draft to the casino and buffalo wild wings! We are playing for this belt, The winner of the season gets their name on the belt and keeps it for a year.

                                                        
Lets just get right to the teams! After TMX wrote their review of each team we googled the teams and these are the pictures that come up...enjoy!

Beachbums as anyone who's followed TMX and adsl knows the Beachbums draft with the full intention of trading and piecing together a championship. Here's their team ( kickers not included) QB Brees, Kap: RB's Hill, Charles, Jennings, Foster, Martin; WR's Green, A. Johnson, Latimer, Floyd, Landry; TE's J.Thomas, Ertz. D Pats, Dolphins. A solid  team that is looking for a big comeback year from Brees and may have hit a lottery ticket with Foster possibly coming back in week 5. Ertz if healthy will finishing with big number in Chip Kelly's offense and Martin is looking like come back player of the year. As soon as BB flips a rb for a top flight wr he will be in the hunt.

Black Dynomite's team is as follows- QB Rodgers, E. Manning RBs- J. Bell, Morris, Blue, Sproles, L. Bell,; WRs- Cobb, Hopkins, Wallace, Harvin, Macklin; TE's Witten, Gates; D Panthers, Bengals. Well, looks like another wagon for Black Dynomite!! Depth could be an issue and the old men holding down the tightend spot but with Rodgers and Leveon Bell they have arguably the top two at those positions plus Cobb gaining recp with Jordy down and it will be a long season for the BD haters.

Charlie's Angels formerly known as..........well its too long to type, its that guy!! Let's give his team a look. Qb's Brady, Newton; RB's Ingram, Cj Anderson, Gray, Williams, J. Stew; WR's Sanders, Thomas, Quick, Adams, M. Bryant; TE's Allen, M. Williams. D- Cards and Niners. Charlie's had a good draft not sure what the strategy was getting all the broncos but failing to secure the qb for double points but hey last time I check TMX hasn't won a league. The tight end position could use an upgrade but Adams gets a huge bump with jordy out. Charlie's should be ready to roll from the jump and then pick up a fired up Brady.

Creepshots ( no relation to Jerkshots) team is QB's Stafford, Tannehill RB's Forsett, Millar, Vereen, Yeldon, Randle; WR's Megatron, K. Allen, Garcon, Perriman, J. Brown; TE's Gronk, Seferian; D- Rams, Browns. A team lead by biggest name in football Gronk and Megatron but will be carried by guys projected to have career years like Forsett, Millar, J.Brown, K. Allen. Good draft will need help in the depth dept but this team is going to be up there especially if Stafford and Mega do their thing.

DMC the TMX odds on favorite to win it all lets look at this juggernaut- QB's Big Ben , Romo; RB's Ap, Mason, Coleman, Gurley, McFadden; WR's Jeffrey, Cook, Odb, Fuchess, Wheaton; TE's Olson, Walker; D- BIlls, Vikes.  The team with the number one pick usually doesn't finish number one but some crafty drafting getting Big Ben and 3 top tier wr's in a ppr league to go along with angry AP makes this team the team to do it!! Olsen is right behind Gronk as top tight end and with Benjamin out he should be a ppr machine!! Getting a solid rb2 should be a priority but right now this team looks like a contender.

Equalizers team is QB- Luck, Palmer; RB's Spiller, Gordon, Sankey, Crowell, Stacy; WR's Tate, Dez, S.Smith, Bolden, Lafell; TE's Bennett, Clay D- Broncos, Giants. Equalizers came in hot with top qb luck but then took a bunch of chances at rb. The wr's are gonna rely heavy on Dez but he may choose to use the double tight end set. The team isn't terrible but there will have to be some upgrades if they plan on hoisting the belt

Jaybirds made the most noise at the draft ( inside draft joke) lets look at the team Qbs- Rivers, Bridgewater; Rb's L. Muray, D.Cobb, R. Mathews, Hyde, Ivory; Wr's A. Brown, J. Jones, Fitz, Marshall, Agholor; Te's  J. Graham, Rudolph; D- Raven Chargers. The Jaybirds have the two top wr's in Antonio and Julio and that should carry them with Graham in the rec and td depts. The rb situation is Murray as rb1 and a few that could hold down solid rb2/rb1. Rivers and Bridgewater should be throwing all season. TMX followers are waiting to see not if but when Jaybirds start traiding! This team is not built to go back in that hot little number he wore at the draft.

Skza's Squad- Came to the draft and stole picks from people. Tremedous strategy all around! Here's the team QBs-P.Manning, Flacco; RBs- McCoy, Forte, Bush, Langford, Blount; WR's- A. Cooper, Edelman, V.Jax, D.Jax, V.Cruz; TE's Kelce, Miller; D- Jets, Chiefs; Skza's banking on Peyton slinging. McCoy and Forte should kill it in the ppr format and Kelce is being favorably to Gronk. The wr position is going to have to stay healthy and counting on a bounce back year from VJax. The team has a lot of questions but that's how the skza's are every year filled with questions but always in the mix.

Supah P's- first team to get hit by injuries as number one wr Nelson went down. Lets get a look at the team- QB"s Wilson, Bradford; Rb's Lacy, Gio, Ellington, Helu, Freeman; WR's Nelson (out), Evans, White, Wright, Watkins, A. Robinson; TE's Cameron, Eifert; D- Seattle, Eagles. The tough break with Jordy out will obviously be painful but Supahs have a solid team with strength in ppr rbs and two potential breakout tight ends. The wr's will have to be strengthened but Watkins and Robinson could surprise. The Supahs starting off in a bit of a whole could lead to some moves.

Slippery Wizards came in with a belt but looking at the team may not be so lucky next year. QB's Ryan, Cutler; Rb's Lynch, Murray, Gore, Abdullah, Duke; WR's TY, Mathews, Decker, Randle, C Johnson; TE's Fleener, Hill D- Packers, Houston. Slippery Wizards aware its a ppr league? Drafted with his auto reverse headphones like its 1990 rb league this year. Obviously team is rb heavy even jumping on latest rb hype Adbullah? Not sure this approach will work will have to hit on Hill at tight end and C. Johnson at wr. Lot of question marks in the wr and tight end position.

TMX Week 3

Tmx week 3 review is here....

 

Tmx is a fantasy reporting agency committed to truth in reporting with a loose association with folan.com the 7th ranked website on the www's. This week in Tmx we saw the first trade and its impact. White Unicorn formerly know as MungoIBTD traded Andy Dalton and Jamal Charles to Beachbums for Mike Vick and Kevin Smith. Dalton is playing alot better than Vick and well Kevin Smith didn't see the field on Sunday as he lost his job? The league loves trades and people willing to make moves. Tmx loves learning new words. Todays word is Collusion- an agreement between 2 or more parties sometimes illegal and secretive to limit competition by deceiving, misleading or defrauding usually resulting in an unfair competitive advantage. Just joking Tmx cant get in the heads of Gm's making moves in week 3 to better their respective teams. This week in a rare interview with Jerkshots new ownership done anonymously the new "owner" stated without the old regime it feels like the 04 Sox when they got rid of Nomar.

Playing loose and free now pressure and aside from the hammy dance the other owner still does you wouldn't recognize this team. Jerkshots came in 2nd this week with a huge week from AJ Green who put up 34.5 and they now are in third place and threatening the leaders. Nutsaway finally got a good game from his running backs with MJD going off for 30 and if Stafford doesnt get hurt had a shot at making a real move to the top. Fourth place saw Villenz playing the right rb but missing on the right qb. If Villenz finds the right combo he may take over the top spot. He sits comfortably in 2nd for now. The Slippery Wizards doing the wire act they do relying on Martellus Bennett pickup this week and Alf pickup last not sure how long they can afford to live off the wire or benching Flacco's big game for a pedestrian game from his number one qb Brady. Black Dynamite ( formerly White Devils) finally got the numbers they expected from Ray Rice and Welker and look to be heading in the right direction.

 Questions around wonder why its not Black DYNO-MIIIIIIITE JJ Walker style but other than that the ship seems to be heading in the right direction with the new name. MFN  seems to have hit a lull. Injuries to his top two backs had him scrambling the wire and missed on two rbs and grabbed fantasy heart breaker Deangelo Williams landing him in 7th place for the week. White Unicorn coming off the trade that kept the league buzzing finished in 8th for the week with Megatron saving him with a big week 32 points while newly aquired Mike Vick is in danger of losing his job with an 8pt outing. BREAKING NEWS- at press time Tmx just recieved word that White Unicorn was able to acquire Lesean Mccoy and Fred Davis for Rob Gronkowski and Isaac Redman. This could be the move to make up for the last trade, cant knock the White Unicorns for making moves!! Sflabo came in 9th and as stated above is making moves trading his top rb for tight end help. Underachieving Shady is out and with Fred Jackson ready to come back Sflabo is ready to come back as well!!! This weeks winner was Beachbums who put up a league high 160 many thanks to the pickup of Jamal Charles who went off for 42 points more than half as many as the last place team DTF who finished with 62. Tmx made the calls and was follows is actual phone calls with owners and players. First up we talked to the Beachbums owners. Hey Beachbums its Tmx whats up! " White Unicorn? that you? I told you dont call this phone! Call the hoe phone! No way the commish isn't bugging this phone after that trade!!" Uhmm Beachbums its Tmx? Can you hear me you sound like your in a bunker? " oh Tmx hey whats up sorry my kid took the phone he's such a joker. Hows things  ?boy we got lucky this week. NO idea how we won and honestly Tmx not to cut you short but I gotta run I'm in my fantasy bunker and try and make some waiver wire magic thanks for the call" Fantasy Bunker? Wow no wonder he wins titles. Tmx then called the one downer on the Beachbums roster to see what is going on Chris Johnson This is what we got. "the number you have reached has been disconnected, no further information is available. OUCH well hope friend of Tmx CJ gets it together usually a good call. The last place team and last in the league is DTF. Tmx called DTF owners and here is how it went. Hey DTF its Tmx again whats going on? " Hey Tmx this is the last time you call this number cuz we finish in last!! I just had Rodgers over here and told him I'll trade or start Big Ben who outscored him again if he keeps this up!! WE are on the rise!!!" Sounds good DTF but didnt big ben say he was going to outscore Rodgers last week? " Tmx I dont like your tone! I''m trying to get out of this dank ass basement! Place got mice I gotta go. See you next week!!" Well good luck DTF.

Iggles finished up with 185 which was not much more than the Beachbums. Looks like DTF and Slippery Wizards gave the Iggles the win this week. Its week 4 and the byes are upon us and the Thursday games continue and so do the trades!! The hammy dancers and BD took out Stafford, Spiller, Dhb, Bush and a few others but none seemed season ending so lets hope for a healthy week and some new blood at the top!! TMX OUT
