Olympic break

In September I had my NHL season preview(here is a refresher).

Here is what I said then:

Playoff bound from the East - Boston, Carolina, Montreal, New Jersey, NY Rangers, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Washington.

Playoff bound from the West - Anaheim, Calgary, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, St. Louis, San Jose, and Vancouver.

Here are the current standings of the teams that are currently in the playoffs:

EASTERN

Ottawa
Pittsburgh
Buffalo
Philadelphia
Boston
Montreal

6 out of 8 aint so bad. I didn't expect Buffalo and the Sens to do this well.

WESTERN
San Jose
Chicago
Vancouver
Phoenix
Los Angeles
Colorado
Nashville
Calgary

4 out of 8 isn't as good as my Eastern picks but hell I'll take it. Who knew that the Kings, Coyotes, Avalanche or the Predators would be this good? I don't think I could name 5 players total between them four teams.
I can not believe the Red Wings are this bad.

I have Boston vs Washington and San Jose vs Calgary with the winners moving on to the Stanley Cup.
This could still happen but man oh man it is not looking promising.
