Man Meat of the Week

I love Twilight series...there I said it. I'm 30 something and that's ok, right? I couldn't have been the only pregnant person waddling into the midnight showing of Eclipse two days before her due date, right...RIGHT? Ok..maybe I was but it was SO worth it! Two things made it worth it...#1 Taylor Lautner was shirtless the WHOLE movie and #2 he was finally legal so it was ok for me to hoot and holler right along with the crowd (who just happen to be much, much younger than me...go figure). Here is a little Taylor to hold my fellow Twihards off until Breaking Dawn premieres.

1 month away

What was that you said Chrissy? I couldn't hear your spinich chin over my beard,the volume was up too high!

Darts Update Week # 11

We are still in First place and last night we played against the 3rd place team from The Connection who are 11 points behind us. We currently hold a 4 point lead on the #2 team but they have a game in hand. Things will shake themselves out when we have our bye week and unless we really step it up we should be looking at finishing in second in the division. I guess the threat last week did not work because we were Jeffery-less...again! Do not think you will be swooping back in come playoff time. You have to earn you spot on the post-season roster.

As additional motivation for you to show up, I leave you with this; there were a few conversations about thinning hair and surprisingly they were more about your head than mine. Be a man and start helping Jeb and me defend the follicly challenged people against these abnormally hairy apes. Mike T. made the show and split his time between the Sox, Keno and the matches doing his best to fire up the DTF'ers. Reports are he was headed to Mass Eye & Ear this AM to have his ears assessed. Brighty had some sort of equipment failure leaving us all partially deaf. While the Sox were securing the worst record in the majors Mike was making his bid for Fan of the Year with a line like, "Zayres is closed, Bradlees is closed and now the 17's are closed. That's what we do!" This is the kind of energy level we need to take it to the next level in the playoffs.

The Results:

501's = 1 Win - 2 Losses

Shawn Larry & Supa P came out of the gates on fire could not close the deal.

Jeb & Derek were also dealing early. DW hit a 73 and shortly after Jeb threw a 125 to grab a big lead. When Jeb followed with a 5 in the next throw, I had a feeling they were in trouble. The other team came back strong and stole it.

Mark & I were up next trying to avoid the sweep. MW jumped on with a 36 and followed it up with a Ton. I played solid enough to help grab the first win of the match.

Cricket = 2 Wins - 1 Loss

Shawn & Brighty started the cricket action and got involved in an obnoxious 400+ point fest that the other team started. SL came to life in a big way hitting 4 triples to keep them in the game. Bright finally made a run at the corks and hit a single / double cork to end it.

Jeb & I were up next. Once again Jeb got us going with some great darts and I stepped up in the end and hit the corks. It was a good team effort.

P & MW had the 3rd match and lost in a close one. They were there until the end and the other team hit 5 corks to take it away.

301's = 3 Wins - 3 Losses

Derek: Game 1 the captain could not get on and found himself in a 200+ hole. The other guy struggled to hit his out and D wasted no time for a great win. Game 2 Derek jumped right in and was up 295 points. He took about 100 shots at the double 3 and appeared to be toying with his opponent. As soon as the other guy was on an out, Whitley made the shot to win. As predicted by yours truly, not only did he win the match, but he did it in just 2 games. I am going further out on the limb by saying this is the kid to watch come playoff time!

Jeb: He could not hit the on dart in the first game and let the other guy run it down. By the time he was able to get on he was down 250 points. He battled back to an even game but lost to the Double 2. Game 2 was similar to game 1. It was a struggle to get on and quickly fell down 150 points. Jeb managed to put up some good numbers to make it a close one but fell short in the end.

Welchie: Game 1 was close from start to finish. It was looking like a win for Mark until the other guy hit a nice 3 dart out from 54 to take it. Game 2 same as game 1. Neck and neck from start to finish but this time it was Mark hitting the double to win. In game 3, Mark hit the double 18 to jump on and took an early 125 point lead. It was tied at the half way point and tied again with 34 to go. After a bunch of wired misses from both players, Mark hit the double 4 for the victory. Good Win.

Brighty VS Big Mouth: After the ridiculous cricket game between these two this was the marquis match-up. In game 1 TB got up early and faded late. With no wiggle room he lost. Game 2 was the opposite of the first game. He was down early but made a good push late. Bright was able to take down the double 19 for the win. Game 3 was a good game all the way but the loudmouth hit a few tons to beat the DJ.

Supa P: Game 1 was close and P took it. Game 2 close end to end. P stepped up and hit a 14 Double 7 for a good win.

Me: In the last match of the night I played like garbage. The first game was close one and I snuck out a win. The 2nd I came back from 240 points down just could not find the out dart. Game 3 was just like game 2. Could not get on, made a good comeback, could not hit the dart when it counted.

Final Score = 6 - 6

There was 1 victim in this strange night. The couch below never had a chance against Derek.

Speaking of Derek, I got a tour of the Whitley Compound last night. After hearing Supa P paid $117.00 to fill his tank I could not let him unnecessarily burn any fuel so I made the trip to Adams Shore. I was not allowed to get a look at the inside, but I'm sure it is nice. Anyone that lives in a neighborhood that has it's own private beach must be doing something right. Too bad it was raining as I thought about doffing the clothes and going for a dip.

New chili pepper crowned world’s hottest

Fighting fire with more fire -- and a WWF-worthy name -- there's a new champ holding the title of world's hottest chili pepper.

As you may recall, in December The Lookout reported on the Naga Viper and its initiation as the chili pepper with the most heat. But now there's a hotter ticket in town: the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T.

Yes, the Butch T. outdistances the Naga Viper, barely, on the Scoville scale -- which rates spice power by tracking the presence of a chemical compound in chilis. The Australian Butch T. weighs in at 1.46 million heat units on the scale, while the British Naga Viper tops out at 1.38 million. For comparison, the average jalapeno pepper falls around 5,000.

"They're just severe, absolutely severe," Marcel de Wit, co-owner of the chili farm that produced the pepper, told Australian Geographic. "No wonder they start making crowd-control grenades now with chillies. It's just wicked." He added that the pepper is so potent, he and his his team have to wear protective gloves when handling the Butch T., lest their hands are left "pumping heat for two days later." Making salsa with the Butch T., he explained, involves wearing chemical masks and body suits to defend against fumes given off in the cooking heat.

After being given some rare seeds by Aussie farmer Neil Smith, de Wit began cultivating the Butch T. two years ago. The champion chili will also soon be the main ingredient in a stingingly hot sauce called the Scorpion Strike.

Here's a video of de Wit and Smith suffering through a sampling of the winning chili.

So here is the question who is going to try it?

#2 baseball trip Chicago

The number 2 baseball park(s) is Chicago's Wrigley Field/ U.S. Cellular Field! That's right people two parks in one swoop! Not alot of time was spent at Cellular field due to it not being in the best  neighborhood and the locals telling us to get in and out- so we did!! This trip included special guest Mikey Layden. The big guy only made two trips with the crew and ironically they were the top two parks! Kid went out in style!! I had heard alot of good things about Chicago so I was excited and we had a new guy doing the hotels Mr. Christian Macphail. I'm not good at finding places or cruising this new www's thing that everyone's into so I was sure Chrissy would handle this no problem! Man oh man!!

When someone says what did you just go online and randomly pick a hotel its a bad sign!! The place we stayed at looked like it was 1000 years old and the scene of a Alfred Hitchcock murder movie!! It was something!! Huge old place and we had a room upstairs that was connected and I'm pretty sure was for the staff because we were by ourselves on that floor and only saw maids and such walking the halls!! There was also a view of a back alley and what looked like a bloodstain in the closet which added to the ambience  It was however close to Navy Pier which was nice. We also separated into rooms which led to  an old school wrestling match which started by me giving Mr. Layden a jimmy superfly snuka as the giant bear slept!! NOT A WISE MANEUVER and I don't recommend it.

The giant grizzly was taking a power nap and Chrissy put me up to it. I leapt , bounced off his mammoth self and luckily landed in full sprint and was able to flee!! The brawl started and  before we knew it D had hit Chrissy on the head with a lamp which left a RIc Flair like laceration on his scalp. Blood usually ends wrastling matches I found out and the trip was in full swing! On to the baseball parks!!

       The day we went to Cellular Field it was hot but they are equipped with mist showers, most in the crew find its best to beat a hot day with cold beers or frozen margaritas (in a Ghostbusters like backpack) that they come to the seats with!! I got seats in rf, the white sox where playing the Mariners and one members of the crew suggested sitting there so we could see the  Ichiro fans ( and you know who they are!). Genius idea though they weren't out in force in Chicago on this day! This was also the day there was a cheerleading competition in the bleachers and I realized Chrissy really loves the young talent as he was scouting a few and asking for the legal age laws! The park itself is relatively new and a step below  Camden Yards but very spacious and all the seats have great views. The fact that we were in and out seemed to dim the trip to Cellular but as always safety first and the world would be less of a place if one of the crew got shot in the Southside of Chicago! Plus we still had Wrigley to go to so it was a business trip to the Southside!!

   The partying in Chicago never seemed to stop, everytime a bar closed the locals led us to another one that stayed open later it was amazing! I also witnessed Chrissy eat some hot dog with hot sauce so hot he almost was crying I'm pretty sure he would say it was some of the hottest he's had. Another note on hot dogs don't try and order one with ketchup in Chicago- only kids get ketchup on a hot dog! We also made the mandatory trip to a gentlemen's club for review purposes ( huh, Derek didn't have a blog and we didn't do reviews? anyway). It was a decent cab ride to the club and we didn't go at peak hours but that didn't stop the manager from trying to get us to go in the champagne room. "all the players go there, Edgar Martinez, Brett Boone.....they were there last night" sorry bud not working with this crowd! I don't recommend playing this game BUT someone thought it would be cool to steal cab drivers id medallions on the trip, our room had a ton of them sorry Chicago. The people and bartenders in Chicago are a friendly cool group.  We went to a bar called Sluggers while we were there and the bartender not only hooked us up with free shots also promised us "funner outfits" when we came back. Like everywhere EXCEPT BOSTON there are drink specials and happy hours all over and like good baseball trip veterans we find them. Sadly on this day we ran into one that may have been the toughest of all the SAMMY SOSA! I'm not 100 percent sure what this thing had in it but I know one of the ingredients was gasoline! It was loaded and disgusting kudos to D for taking a couple down!!

     The much anticipated Wrigley Field experience was for me sort of a letdown. First of all we decided I'd get tickets in the fabled bleachers with the ivey walls! No worries I got them and we headed in. Well, when we get in we don't see the section that are on the tickets? Now we had all been to parks before so we are standing there searching and no one wants to ask where the section is? Then we see the seats in the bleachers are well METAL BLEACHER SEATS!  Finally, Chrissy asks an usher as we are off to the side, I see the usher just shaking his head and Chrissy nodding and I'm like wtf? Well people its general admission first come first serve in the bleachers!!! OUCH. We head to take over our portion of the bench which wasn't as close as we would have like but the view was nice and we settled in. We had some pre-game beers ( some= alot) and I headed off to use the restroom during the Cubbies at bat knowing the line would be short. Wrigley is an old old small place and when I got to the restroom I didn't exactly expect modern amenities BUT I also didn't expect a giant troth!! It runs the length of the wall .

Guys side by side just pissing. It took a little getting used to and believe me when I tell you strangers hitting your foot while you go is not very comfortable and keeps that line moving! I get the nostalgia and I'm big into that but Wrigley is very outdated and Cellular was a much better park that being said the nightlife around in Wrigley Ville makes this place one of the best places we've been to. I'd go back tomorrow if we got seats on the roof across the street that I hear is a great time too. I am quite certain someone was close to moving there and falling in love on this trip! Even with the haunted hotel this trip was a huge success with tons of laughs, a little bloodshed, some tears when we said goodbye but all in all it easily fits into the number 2 spot and is the reason why you take baseball trips!! Up next number one ballpark visited SO FAR- San Francisco

Enough is Enough

now here is a 100% all natural beard. or you could believe Supah P's story but you people probably think Manny Ramirez never used steroids either!

Success

Opening day was a huge success as always(I did miss the fly over picture though).

This is what I learned this weekend:
1. You can have a wedding rehearsal dinner at the Baseball Tavern?
2. Inviting total random people to the 4th Annual Mustache Pub Crawl is always a blast.
3. Im not a golf guy but "its the fucking Masters bro" and the matches were good.
4. Did the Celtics just quit on the season?
5. The 1st really nice weekend of the year and everyone heads to Sullys at Castle Island.
6. Apparently there is much more to gardening than just planting stuff in the ground.
7. I see all these people trying to sneak onto the Bruins bangwagon with the Red Sox scuffling.
8. Old school college night pitchers with old friends is always a welcomed time.
9. Game On kinda sucks. They are always yelling at you to move from one place or another. Hey why dont you take the fucking tables out so people have a place to stand.
10. You can rent the visiting teams batting cages at Game On for special occasions during the offseason.
11. If you find a cell phone, it doesn't mean you can actually use it.
12. I love when people chat with you all day, via the text, make plans and then go MIA!
13. If you are wearing any teams hat or shirt you should be able to at least name a player on the team. I don't care if you are homeless.
14. Lindsay Lohans user name on Words with friends is Bella6126.
15. Lou Gorman day was just as good as John Brewer day.
16. The t shirts came in for the 4th Annual Mustache Pub crawl. They look awesome.

Feel free to leave any and all comments. If you have any suggestions for the blog or anything that you want to see on here.

Man Meat of the Week

Toby Keith is the reason I love Country music. Even if you aren't a fan of his music there is no denying that he is just a cool guy. I don't know any musician that has more pride than him when it comes to this country and he has never stopped showing it. More importantly, he sings some damn good songs about boozing which everyone here can relate to. Normally I like to mix up my pictures...some with a shirt..some without but Toby doesn't seem to have too much out there. In fact, finding a picture of him without a shirt is about as easy as finding one of him without a hat. Neither exist. I know a while back he made Derek's list of people he'd like to have a beer with so when that happens can you let him know we are waiting for a different picture? Nothing really changes in these pics except the clothing but at least he looks hot in all of them!

Darts Update Week # 10

Week 10 brought us back to Jamaica Plain to play against the team who is chasing us for first place. According to the latest standings we have a 2 point lead on them but there is some confusion because of a team dropping out of the league. Either way we are in great shape in our quest to make the playoffs with just a few weeks left in the regular season. If you have not attended a match you are missing some fun times. Lots of boozing, lots of ball breaking, some good (and not so good) music & of course a few dart games mixed in to the night.

501's = 3 wins 0 Losses
Capt'n Derek and I started off the night with a nice win to set the tone. I doubled on right off the bat and DW kept most of the darts on the board to help to pound it down. I closed it out with a double 16.

Jeb & Supa P kept the momentum going with a comeback win. The boys got off to a slow start and had a few hiccups in the middle but they stepped up in the end. With 160 to go P tossed a ton and Jeb followed with a 1, triple 19, double 1 (sometimes elusive). Not the ideal out from 60 but it was great to see him stay with it and a win is a win.

Mark & Shawn Larry played a close one for 3/4's of a game and then just ran away with it. SL threw a 97 to get it down and MW hit the (most times elusive) double 1 for the win.

Cricket = 2 Wins 1 Loss
Brighty & Shawn got involved in a point fest seesaw battle and they both played well. Shawn Larry sealed it with the final cork.

Jeb and I lost in a close one. We were looking good from 20's to 15's but stalled out on the cork. Our opponent hit 7 corks in 9 darts and we just could not hit any.

P & Welchie played a solid game. They ponited when they had to, and closed the numbers when it made sense. It was a good back and forth battle and MW shut it down with a double cork.

301 = 2 Wins 4 Losses
DW lost in a 2 game match. He kept it close but the other guy wasted no time in getting out in both games. Each week he is showing improvement and is flat out funny to watch when he gets pissed off. I'm predicting a win in singles for him next week.

Jeb lost in a 3 game match. Game 1 he came back from 200+ down but fell short. Game 2 he came out hot and faded in the end but was just good enough to close with a nice 10, double 4. Game 3 was neck and neck but not meant to be.

MW lost in a 3 game match. The 1st game I blame on Pat Bennetar's hit me with your best shot. One of the worst songs in history. No one can expect to shoot well with that shit on. He won game 2 with a nice 3 dart scramble from 30 hitting 15, 7 & double 4. Game 3 came down to a battle of the double 1's. (always elusive)

Bright stopped the slide taking his match in 2 games. In game one he jumped on it early and then almost let the other guy back in. He hit a great 16, double 4 to win. Despite my bad math in game 2 he was able to hit the correct out (twice) and bring home the win.

P lost in a 3 game battle. Game 1 was a close one but a loss. He made a good come back from a 200+ deficit in game 2 hitting the double 16 for a win. In game 3 he jumped up to a 100+ point lead but got stuck on a shitty out number and lost.

I was the anchor man as usual and had the pressure of a winning night or a tie. Game 1 was an easy win. I had a good lead on him in the 2nd game but just could not hit my out. The 3rd game was a barnburner. We both had our chances and I played away from the double 9 and smashed a 10 double 4 for the win.

End result = 7 - 5 Victory!

Now to the BS commentary:

It was nice to see Jeffrey and Mike T. in the house...NOT!!! For Christ sake even Brownie, Sassi, Chuck T. and Leslie made the Tuesday night drinking session. I'm surprised KB did not hop a flight up North to get involved. Get ready Sarah it might be time to start another letter writing campaign.

Other than Siouxsie and The Banshies and Pat "Bent Guitar" the music was pretty good for a bar in Jamaica Plain mostly because we feed the jukebox for most of the night. Good mix of west coast rap, early 80's and late 90's rock and of course the Mickey Avalon unofficial DTF'ers theme song.

Unlike the last time we were here we had no snow, no puke in the bathrooms, no dropped broken beers and fewer freak shows. Overall, I guess it was a better night...
As some of you may know I write this stuff as the night is happening. Just after I hit the send button, I find out Supa P puked, and then Jeb broke a beer..So I guess the lack of snow and freaks made it tolerable. Unless we have a playoff match against this team, I am pretty sure I will never step foor in that bar again. The beers are so God damn expensive that they killed our suck money and a few of us had to dip into our pockets to keep our drink on. I have never been a fan of teams with matching dart uniforms or teams that brag before the match that they have not lost all season. Well I guess you can't say that anymore! While outside enjoying some I observed how they roll. Very impressive bikes, CLOWNS!

Ball Park #3 Petco Park

*editors note- the author of this blog has been receiving alot of flack for not remembering certain events on the baseball trip. Further proof that one must experience a trip to get all the info. Also some parts are purposely left out to protect people from legal ramifications and such.

   The third best baseball park trip brings us to the west siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide. Petco Park in lovely San Diego. I'm not a huge fan of flying, so going to the west coast is always an ordeal with me but that being said the weather is great and the people are very good to Boston guys. Seems alot of them are either from Boston, love the "accents" or love the Red Sox even if they are in a San Diego Padres shirt- dress.  We stayed at a hotel through a friends hookup and it was by the water and upgraded but wasn't as close to the park or downtown as the crew likes to be.

But we were ON VACATION so we made it work quite nicely with the extensive use of cabs.  We also has some intel from original baseball trip member Nickerson who is "loosely" based out of Cali. Don't pardon the pun it was put in there  for Chrissy (LOOSELY HA). The trip didn't include him but that's whats good about a baseball trip just plug in the players and its still fantastic!!

The hotel not being near the park didn't deter us but it was also not near the San Diego zoo. Whitley travels owner LOVES himself a good zoo so this was a must and off we went!! The cab ride seemed long and I was thinking we were getting tooken but I was excited for the zoo so I let it be. We arrived at the zoo and right off the bat you could tell this was no Stone Zoo ( Susie C if you read this blog I didn't forget you yelling at me there, nice chaperone) the place was huge complete with a Gondola to get you across the park. The place has it all!! We had to use the Gondola to get across and I'm not going to lie the members of my Gondola didn't trust the thing and there wasn't much talking, just white knuckle gripping of the rails as we made it across. Jeffrey and D however were snapping pictures spinning around and yelling, I'm assuming they had a better Gondola and not the faulty one I was on cuz there's no way it could've been we were scared shitless, no way no how.  We explored all the zoo had to offer and it was tremendous! Polar bears are bad ass, rhinos are big mofos and monkeys are dirty dirty animals. Jeffrey was able to snap a photo of them engaging in intercourse people were covering their kids eyes and he wasn't deterred like a Asian tourist snapping away!!  Not sure that happens everyday at the San Diego Zoo so don't be mad at me if you go there to see that and it doesn't happen, Foley that is aimed at you, sick bastard. We grabbed some mementos from this beautiful park. Jeffrey got a gorilla hoodie which is awesome I still have my monkey straw from the root beer float and D got himself some magnets. All in all it is the best Zoo by far that I have ever seen and it was a perfect day. I think the price was a little steep but we were there for quite some time taking it in, I checked with the baseball trip statistician and this was the longest time period other than sleeping that no one in the crew had an alcoholic beverage. Proud or Sad I'm not sure which but don't judge us. We went out that night to a bar called Moondoggies it was pretty cool and met alot of people most important was a dude named Jimmy who told us he'd "make us VIP" at a friends new bar by Petco. Who doesn't like VIP in another state? So we were off  to Petco.

       We head down to the stadium early to get a good feel of the place and before heading in we stop by the spot that Jimmy said he had us as VIP, I didn't believe the guy, but he was legit. We stop in to see him for a few drinks and we head out with this advice " take it easy guys I need you fresh for tonight" Wrong crowd to say that to, we play by our own rules and in a stadium where they give you ice cold beers in aluminum bottles- well no guarantees. We get to the park and we are on the left field line about 6 rows up. Beautiful stadium and in front of us are two young kids " YOU"RE A BUM" is what one of em kept yelling as he told us the Red Sox are his team!  We were well received by the Petco faithful complete with pictures with their ball girls!! ( Smid truth be told you snuck in on our picture)!. They also have ushers similar to at the Bs and C's games that dont let you go to your seat while the games in play. I know the rules but there weren't people in our section so I was just trying to get down there and was stopped! This led to me getting a lecture but then getting the Padres service appreciation pin off an usher!! I'd imagine its a big deal for ushers to earn one but either she felt bad for me for begging or this was my lucky day!! My favorite keepsake of any trip ever sorry Pittsburgh!! I even sent a letter to the Padres organization, hope she got another one!

Our seats were in left field and the Padres were playing the Giants and that led to Jeffrey yelling  encouraging words at Barry Bonds! It was classic Jeffrey. Padres single to right field Jeffrey yelling to Barry in LF " NOT YOU'RE FAULT BARRY NOT YOU'RE FAULT, WE LOVE YOU BARRY!" I'm pretty sure Barry glanced over out of fear but Jeffrey was sure it was out of respect.

The Padres fans didn't seem to mind and it was a great time had by all. Nice clean comfortable park, I'd recommend it. The game ended and we headed out to be VIP. In fairness I did just get the appreciation pin so there was alot of celebrating inside the park for me so I wasn't as "fresh" as I was told to be but the Smiddawg was!! Never fall in love on the baseball trip, this came out way before Ronnie and the Jersey Shore but Smiddawg was smitten with some to this day call "the hottest girl in San Diego". I have pictures that are only shared on trips but I will tell you she was in a San Diego Padres shirt-dress!! We spent some time VIP'ing and then we bounced around; I met some kid who was real good friends with Alicia growing up (apparently that's Pink's real name) and he could call her if I wanted to talk to her? Uhhhm relax bro did you see this Padres service appreciation pin I got? Yeah check yo self maybe lil Pinkie should call me. We also met Smeagle or some old lady bartender that looked like Smeagle from Lord of the Rings! D was yelling Smeagle to her FACE and I think her and I were the only ones not laughing? I've never seen Lord of the Rings, guess she had! hahaha funny stuff.

The trip in San Diego also included a seal outside of our hotel in the water that I tried to convince D to let me take it home but the seal never made it back with us but tons of laughs, memories and suprisingly even Smid who vowed to move there.. This trip was a huge success with  things I may have forgot or chose to leave out!! It was tough to leave it out of the top 2 but ................Firmly slotted at number 2 is CHICAGO

Text of the week...

Purple rain anyone?

Time to jump ship?

Three games into the new baseball season and people are ready to jump ship on the Sox? UHM HELLO there are 158 MORE games this year people. I hope to see you all down by Fenway on Friday. I have yet to score any tickets but I will be down there getting my drank on.

This is what I learned this weekend:
1. Digging a 4 foot hole straight down is a daunting task.
2. How could anyone ask the Uconn - Kentucky game to be turned off in favor of the 2nd Sox game of the season?
3. Wrestlemania 27 was awesome. I wouldn't get it every year but it was a good show. Plus it is $59.99 now.
4. Some chicks shouldn't dye their hair blonde. Especially if it makes your hair look fake.
5. I feel like there is some secret beard fraternity. Every time I see some random with a beard they give me the head nod. Kinda creepy.
6. Jeffrey wants to host a Presidents day pub crawl, in Quincy, the city of Presidents next year. Who is in?
7. There are lots of good stories out there about Lou Gorman but I like this one the best.
8. No one loves the baseball trip reviews more than Joe Martell. Makes him mad that he has never been on one.
9. Chrissy is headed to Baltimore this summer and is willing to meet up with whoever and do whatever. You have been warned.
10. The Bruins have already started charging me for the playoffs. Relax guys, you will get your effing money.
11. Jeffrey's new karaoke song is Cheap Trick's I want you to want me.
12. BJ's sells some good frozen scallops wrapped in bacon.
13. Katie is going to try her hand at gardening this summer. Lets hope we get good tomatos, peppers and squash.
14. April 24th can not come soon enough. Yes Easter Sunday is April 24th.
15. Who doesn't love jelly beans? I mean I don't like black licorice ones but other than that skies the limit.

Lets hope the Bruins have a nice run to finish out the season and carry that momentum into the playoffs. The Sox will be fine people. Just relax!
